I have all the respect in the work for y’all. I ran friends and family on 8 hour fishing trips four days straight a couple weeks ago up in the panhandle inshore on a 16’ boat with an outboard. I needed a vacation from my vacation after that! I can only imagine how grueling offshore is day in and day out then having to edit KZbin videos on top of that. Keep up the great work!

Aside from correcting the issue with your fuel gauge and/or sending unit (which might be an indicator of other more serious issues) you would benefit greatly from installing at least one (if not one for each engine) fuel flow meter, it will work with your electronics (likely via a NEMA 200 connection)and lets you know exactly how much fuel you are burning with each engine and your ideal cruse for fuel consumption plus if you know the size of your tanks (I think you have a main and a reserve on that boat) you'll always have an accurate way of determining how much fuel you have on board since top off. It would be compatible with your current 250's (the newer power typically has a built in module that is customizable to varying degrees depending upon the manufacturer of the engine and GPS Chartplotter. Intrepid is a great boat and that model I believe offers good access to the sending unit via and inspection plate/pie plate under the console. You likely knew some if not all of this so I apologize If I'm late to the party. You both do a wonderful job with the videos. Thank you. Now if I can use the videos to inspire my young teenage daughters to spend a little more time offshore with their dad and brother I would be eternally grateful. Keep up the great work! Cheers, Ryan

I recently found your channel and love your content! You two are all about the water, fishing, and boating which is a nice change! Most KZbin fishing channels featuring ladies seem to be more focused on how much of the bathing suit they can fit in their crack, sometimes to the point it's gross. Just found your channel and my daughter and our family loves it! Thanks for keeping the channel family friendly, wish there were more like you that I could allow her to watch and not worry about cursing, or anything bad. Was curious if you guys use salt away when you flush your engines. I ran into some major salt buildup in my engines that was thousands of dollars in repairs for only flushing with freshwater over the years with my boat. Engines started overheating and there was salt buildup all in there. Was curious if you guys use it and if not you might want to consider it for the future. It’s pretty cheap insurance to know that you are getting all of the salt out/off the boat. You can spray it all over the boat trailer the stuff is amazing and the salt comes off so easily. Glad we found your channel and look forward to watching a ton of your videos to catch up! Stay safe!

Gale Force Twins I would definitely consider it. We are on the salt water and I’ve had so many say they would never flush without it going forward on their engines as it’s super cheap insurance to know your getting all the salt out. There have been tons of videos posted where people have had issues with flushing with fresh water for the recommended time that the boat manufacturer told them to and still tons of salt build up inside and engines overheating. Either way it’s good to see that you at least flush the engines with fresh water and keep it clean. I hope to one day get her on the water with you guys as we travel to Florida often for Disney trips, etc. Stay safe and we wish you and your sister all the best in your business and future!

@@GaleForceTwins According to the Yamaha dealer in Hawaii, he doesn't recommend flushing the motors with fresh water. So we don't 2 150s. He says fresh water causes more deposits and lessen the life of the motors. Check with your Florida dealer. Tightlines! Feed your cats dry food to so you don't have brush their teeth as often.

Great vid as always. When you get time and money please repaint your engine cowlings you can do it yourself get electric palm sander 1/4” sheet 220 400 grit take paint down wipe with Paint thinner dry spray with primer sand with like 600 grit wipe with thinner dry primer again it should be smooth then sand with 800 grit wipe dry spray with Yamaha grey sand wipe dry go for finish coat Sand 800 grit wipe dry either another coat or two and then clear coat then they will look really good you can be proud JT here I am telling you to paint your cowlings and my etec clear is peeling shame on me I’m doing four jobs at once alright I’ll get on it Damn it I had to say something.
