Starting a business is tough, I opened my restaurant in 2020 and although we are doing good I’ve had lots of friends not make it with their businesses because the time we are in is not the best especially here in California. I started my junk removal business to make some extra money and I’m able to give all my restaurant customers my business card and have stayed busy every weekend for the past 1.5 years so I’m blessed but I know how it feels when you have lots of bills to pay.

From getting yard signs $800, shirts $200 , graphics for truck and trailer $4,000, trailer (non dump 16ft used) $3,000, truck to pull said trailer $18,000, I live in HOA neighborhood so commercial space for trailer and all other supplies $1200 a month+ deposit. @@JackofHaulTrades you’re over leveraged. Sell that stuff and spend that money on marketing and a coach. But no matter what, keep going. You’ll be fine. We’re all learning. I’m gonna start my own business later this month. 🙏🏿

You should be doing pictures estimating! By Time you drive, miles on the truck, gas, your personal time etc. it kills profits

Thank you for the tip sir. I tried picture estimates. Customers just shop around for the cheapest bid, not worth it for me. I make much more money bidding them in person, because it always you to connect on a personal level with the customer! I only do picture estimates on small small jobs
