Day In The Life - Putting On Brandon's Trailer Signage, Flying The Drone, Giveaway Updates

I know you guys have been requesting way more Day In The Life type vlogs, capturing more of our day to day activity and what I'm up to. Here is another fun one from Sunday, when I was running all around town just tackling the day.
It started off bright and early flying the new DJI Mavic Air Drone, as I was trying to log some flight time and get more familiar with the drone. I can't wait to utilize this bad boy all summer on both our channels, and take our video production to the next level. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of practice to obtain those epic drone shots, so I gotta put in the hours to get better!

After some awesome drone time and hanging out at a local park, I went and helped Brandon install his new trailer signage on his ramp gate. It was definitely fun getting to see the final touches being added to his trailer, and let me tell you, his trailer signage turned out awesome.
We both get our trailer signs from our local print shop, they cost around $200, for those of you who keep asking on Instagram. It's definitely one of the best investments I've made in our advertising/marketing campaigns, because folks call me all the time saying I saw your trailer/signage and want a quote for some service we offer.
All in all guys, it was a fun day just running around town, passing out a few yard signs, flying the drone, unhooking the plow, and just taking advantage of a slow day. We all know it never ends this time of the season, so it's hard to really take a full day off. But no complaints here, as you guys know, I'm giddy to get the season started, and get out there and crush it!

I would get carriage bolts with the nuts on the side with the sign so when you drive stuff up on your trailer you won't pop a tire.

You may want to seal those bolt holes... in time if water builds up inside the box tubing it could freeze and tear the metal. That's a new clean trailer might as well keep it that way

Self tapping screws with loctite will work better the screw heads are flatter and the nuts won't be exposed for your mower decks to catch on going up the ramp but great job guys!!!

I just ordered one yesterday actually (after watching one of your old videos) and got a 30"x45" sign (exactly 2.5 times the size of my yard signs). Hey Brian, you might tell your friend with the sign to remove one bolt at a time and seal them with clear silicone caulking.... water will run inside the tubing and start rusting it from the inside out.... seen that mistake before... takes a year or two, but it does happen!

What do you do about the extra part of the bolt sticking out. Isn't it gonna be in the way when you back a mower off the trailer and want to poke into the tire? Would it be better to use a carriage bolt?

Yep it'll definitely add some wind resistance. But that's expected. It's not really an issue!

Try 5/16x 1 1/2" self- drilling screws. That way there not pocking through ramp possible put a hole in a tire.

You should use wd40 when cutting through metal t will be quicker and will increase life of the drill bit
