I use to work at a butterfly exhibit in a museum, worked there for 6-7 years. I would take care of the butterflies and some would emerge with deformities. Some would have twisted wings, or split proboscis. It would always break my heart but the best we could do is place them near food and let them at least eat and be at peace in the exhibit before they passed. The best anyone can do for these beautiful butterflies is to plant native flowers and plant butterfly host plants so they have enough to eat and have plants they can lay their eggs on. You did well and I'm glad you are shining light on this topic ❤

Hello, Allison. My daughter and I found your channel this summer and have really enjoyed your videos! We love your gentle nature, your refreshing aesthetic, and your love of our Lord. I live in Texas and we get to enjoy the Monarch butterfly migration. Two years ago we had a massive amount of Monarchs and I got to capture their resting period in my yard. It was absolutely amazing! I adore them so much. We have many painted ladies, as well. When I was still teaching first grade, my class nurtured caterpillars and released them in the spring. It was a wonderful adventure, so I have enjoyed your journey to raise these beautiful creatures. Looking forward to your videos!

about the saltless bread!! something else you could do is trying a snack that people in Tuscany (Italy) do: sice they purposefully bake it with no salt, they slice it in bite-sized pieces and sprinkle salt and olive oil on top of it and then snack on it. you could give this a try, it is nice even if you have guests over!

The Italians basically bake their bread with very little salt (as there was some salt tax at some point). But they pair it with very tasty toppings, such as balsamic vinegar, olive oil and sea salt. You just combine everything and dip your bread! Also, spicy salami or other cured meat go very well with plain bread. It’s not bad, it’s just different! 🥖 x
