I love UCSF! I was born with a complicated connective tissue disorder and have experienced so many frustrating doctor appointments until I went to UCSF. They are so amazing! and all have great bedside manner. Thank you UCSF!

It's very interesting how subspecialties don't have their own clinics/services. Is this common in the US? My school in Turkey(Ege University) has an inpatient service for each subspecialty.

Honest question, it seems MDs are taking their scrubs home and go to work with them. Is there any other reason than to show "hey, I'm a doctor"? Where I live, if any of us took our scrubs home we werent just perceived douchebags, but also terribly unhygenic. Or do you guys put on clean scrubs for your way to and from work to save your own clean laundry?

Taking scrubs home and bringing them to the hospital defeats the purpose of wearing them in the first place

We switch a lot of our scrubs in our scrub machines, so we usually bring home clean scrubs. It just saves time and the inconvenience of changing in slightly grimy locker rooms 😂 (speaking from my experience anyway)

Doctor how come there hasn't really been any medical breakthroughs in medications? I mean all the medications that are advertised on TV have very dangerous side effects and aren't really effective.

Medications aren't really effective? We are able to treat diseases that would be certain death 100 years ago. Side effects are low to non-existant. I dont know about you, but most of the people in my close environment who take medications are not having noticable side effects and their effectiveness is obvious. There are innovations all the time.

You’re technically a doctor once you graduate from your medical school. You’re just not certified to work independently yet. Clear enough?

Kevin Jubbal, M.D. KZbin is horrendous when it comes to management. Not only are they incredibly out of touch with their user base, they also keep trying to push algorithms that make a viewer receive notifications only from the most active channels. Those are channels that typically upload everyday and pump out large amounts of content.
