Bella is everything! I appreciate Vincent's transparency with his upbringing. Many of us may not have had solid examples on parenting and marriage but we are dedicated to working at it.

Beautiful video. I love what Vincent said about being a dad, even though he didn't have an example. I was just telling my husband about that the other day . I think that so many people stay stuck in the past, and the what ifs, or what they didn't have, instead of focusing on the present and making things better for the next generation now. Just because you didn't learn something by seeing it in your parents, doesn't mean that you can't do it. And I think a lot if people use that as an excuse, both male and female. If you recognize your parents missed the mark on something, learn from it and move on. Take the good and leave the bad. For example my parents didn't raise us saying "I love you." They never said it to us at all. We knew they loved us by their actions, but they never said it. I say it to my kids all the time, aaallll the time. I'm not gonna say, "well my parents never said it to me, so I don't know how to say it to my kids." No. I agree with Vincent, you go out and find out how to do things and you do it, regardless of your past experience. We're all learning everyday, and everyday you try new things and work at it. That's all it is.

Vincent, I’m praying for you in that area, but praying for the three of you as a family. Coming from a broken home age 4, I understand what it’s like not to have both, or one of them. I applaud you for your wisdom, heart, and will to WANT to be there for Bella/Bri. Find a support group of dads who are going through, or have gone through the same thing, that’s there for their kids no matter what. I’m so proud of you, continue to watch, learn, and grow. Never be ashamed to ask questions, and seek Gods instructions. Read the entire book of Proverbs, it’s full of instructions to help raise a child. Vincent, that's What will make you Stronger and strong minded, that you did not grow up with your parents, not to say its a good thing its a empty feeling you some times think about, but the flip coin side about the situation , you will do every thing in your power to shelter your daughter because of the way you grew up, with out your parents, I can speak on it because I never seen the face of my real father, I use to long to see and know, my step dad was like a real father , raised me in the Church, but his own children would remind me I don't have a dad , it hurt but it made me strong, to keep all my children with one man, no other baby daddy drama , my three children from same mother which is me same father one man, you are a proud dad , and I know you will always be a proud dad hardship made you strong and prepared you for your now FAMILY GOD Blessed you with the loving wife and Beautiful little girl
