I'm always so happy when you upload a new video! I think it's absolutely lovely that you didn't stop filming after Rowan went down for bed, because it's really nice to see your own routine, too. I think it's such a nice routine that Matt and you cook together. It's really good to get "alone time" as a couple sometimes and I've always enjoyed doing something like cooking together where you sort of help each other make something. Seeing Matt and Rowan play on the bed before bath time was the most adorable thing. It's so beautiful to see little Rowan laugh and smile so consciously and you can see how happy he is. Do you always stick to the same roles when doing your routine? Like is Matt always the one doing bath time, are you always the one putting him in his PJ's ect? I'm asking because I'm (maybe unreasonably so?) anxious about my baby not being able to go to sleep at all if me or my partner ever aren't there to do the night routine together. It's never come up with covid and all but our country is doing pretty well at the moment so it might and I'm the kind of person to have a million thoughts about something before I even know if it'll really happen or not haha It's almost a shame that you didn't share you singing the lullaby because I've only the other day seen a video of yours where you sing and it was absolutely beautiful! Your voice is so wonderful, really beautiful!! Seeing this video made me feel so relaxed and calm, I feel like it gave off such a calming and happy energy. I love seeing your beautiful family and I'm thankful that you decide to share these videos with us. Your sweet sweet boy as well as you and Matt always make me smile. Wishing you all the best xx

Wow! How did you get him to fall asleep on his own? My baby is 5 months and I have to rock her to sleep every time. I maintain a constant bedtime routine everyday but she just wont fall asleep without me holding her

It’s easiest to put them down “sleepy but not asleep” for the first nap of the day so I would say start trying with that one first!

We usually start dinner around 6:30 and aim for a 7:30 bedtime!

wow he sleeps in own room!i am not strong like dat...my baby sleeps in his cot in our room at all times...ill never leave the room without him...so wherever i go he has to be with me! im a big cry baby if baby sleeps in own room...and ill get so stressed just wondering if he is ok..but this is definitely something i will do wen he is older.. so proud of u guys with how u raised ur son something i can learn to do wen my baby is older maybe🙄🙄😆.

How long did it take for him to be able to fall asleep on his own? My little one is a great sleeper and I only wake up about once to feed her, but she definitely needs to be rocked to sleep for naps and nighttime.

We stopped rocking him to sleep around three months and it took him about two weeks to get used to it

@@MeganAcuna Did you set him down and pick him back up when he woke up? My baby will be 3 months in a couple days and whenever I set him down to sleep without rocking him, he wakes up and starts crying

@@brittanynichole7368 look into takingcarababies! She talks about what to do when baby wakes and the slow progression of them falling asleep on their own. My baby just turned 4 months and she can fall asleep on her own because I followed the takingcarababies guidelines. 👍🏼
