Watch as we follow EJ Liddell on one of the most anticipated days of his life. EJ was drafted to the New Orleans Pelicans with the 41st pick in the 2022 NBA draft. EJ Liddell entered the draft as a 21 year old junior from The Ohio State University and Belleville, Illinois. EJ attended Belleville West High School were he won back to back state championships and back to back Mr. Basketball for the state of Illinois.

After the NBA Finals and before the draft, I decided I'll find one prospect who I'll focus on watching next season, and I chose EJ Liddell after reading various scouts' articles. So I'm a new EJ and Pelicans fan now, and this video provided a great window into who he is. Also, good job with the editing, especially the part in his HS with the game footage, and the ending of him getting passed up over and over and energy getting sucked out of the room, only to eventually explode.

I know some people don't see it yet, because he's 6'7. But EJ will be our starting center of the future. He has everything we've been needing in a Center and more. Leadership, grit, strength, elite motor, elite IQ, very good shooter, lob threat, post threat, elite passer, elite defense, rim protection. Him and Zion will be a short front court, but no front court will out muscle them, play with more force, be more skilled, intelligent or have higher motors. Dynasty loading. Pelicans 2023 champions and beyond.
