Suggestion: to make eating very liquid soup easier for little ones, pour the broth in a child’s cup so they can drink it. Put the noodles and crackers with very little broth in a small bowl. They can catch the noodles much easier with less mess and frustration. Feel better soon all you sweeties.

I hope the kids feel better soon! Post nasal drip, where mucus drips down the back of your throat from your nose, can cause gaging which could lead to vomiting. Warm baths with Vicks vapor bath will help with their stuffy noses as well. I used it when my kids were little and it helped them. Honestly we all still use it and if I’m really congested I even sit in the tub and use it. It’s so soothing. My SIL also taught me a trick when her kids were sick. She used Vicks Vaporub and put it on the bottoms of her kids feet, then she would put socks on and a onesie pj outfit on so the socks would stay on. Somehow it really helped with the coughing at night. 💜

There is so much about your video I have to comment on, first off, You two are wonderful parents, Layla has really grown into the show, she’s such a blessing and to see her sweet little personality come out more is so cute. She is so good with Zade , And yes I too do the CPR as you call it on the trash container, your backyard is beautiful and Carlin I too have always wanted a pool, it’s my dream but our acreage is too rocky and unleveled. But we do have a gigantic indoor pool in the town I live in.

Keep on making up songs Layla there is nothing wrong with that. I love your songs. My nephew was born in 1993 he had acid reflux he cried the first five months of his life. Both my older boys were reading beginner books out loud by 4 years old. The ‘trick’ is to teach them their letters AND sounds (like they are doing with Layla) and then use easy phonics books to ‘build’ words with them-our favorite books were and are still BOB books.

here's a fun little game i used to play with my kids and now my grandkids. they've always called it 'the letter game' everyone has to have an answer before you go on to the next letter, but the kick is, it's based on a 'place'. could be outside, a restaurant, a playground, a school, etc.. for example, a grocery store, then everyone thinks of something in the store that begins with the letter 'a', etc. like apple would be right but antelope wouldn't be. or a church, air conditioning would be right but not apple, you get the gist. this has also helped my grandson, who has a speech impediment, with a lot with his pronunciations of letters as well. they are the ones who are always asking to play the letter game
