It seems like Evan has a passion for videoing and editing that does bring glory to God, so I say go for it Evan and now Travis is coming to live so near, the singing and videoing can mesh together. I never saw that joy when he was studying at electrician school. I saw one video where he used a funny deep voice joking about how he was trying to be less his true preppy self to fit in. Also, how do y'all fit in workouts, devotionals, full time jobs, You Tube, side jobs/businesses, 2 children, homeschooling, extra kid lessons, seeing family and friends, shopping, dog care, keeping up on the housework/maintenance/improvements, church fellowship and commitments, and hobbies of golf/coloring!!!

Potty training tips. I have a boy and we did the liquid in take before bed. Made sure he went to bed before bed and it worked for us
@quinoasongs25076 ай бұрын
I have made a ritual of, when someone excuses themselves to go to the bathroom, I tell them to have fun. I wonder if that has an impact on small kids; that they then wonder what's fun in the bathroom and are inspired to potty-train? Anyway, I'm glad you don't vlog the logistics of it. And have fun

Night potty training. My son would go to bed with a pull up.. and would still just wake up and tell us he had to potty. So I thought if I’m waking up might as well night potty train.. took the pull ups away.. and the kid has been potty trained ever since. Has had maybe 3 accidents. Best advice.. just try.. use the bathroom before bed and cut drinks an hour to two before bed.

As for another baby, of course that's on all of our minds, lol, but yeah, when it's time, I think that "3rd time is a charm" I see you guys as a family of 5, 3 kiddos perfect for ya all💓💙🧡. How very cool Katie and Travis will move close to you guys, the 4 of you seem like a good quartet!!As for Zade not saying so many words, he's fine and way okay, each child is different, I've always believed..to each their own, each at their pace and yes, girls do tend to be more quick with certain milestones, plus Zade is still so little still. Great you both will have a little get away alone together, this is usually needed and good for you 2 as a couple. Anyways, sorry for the long comment, just loved the video and love ya guys

As a mama of both boys and girls, I can honestly say, do NOT let zade worry you. It’s totally a boy thing. I agree, it’s never good to compare your kids with others. However, I had my two boys first and was always so worried when comparing him to cousin or friends kids. But now that I have two girls, WOW! Mind blown at how quickly my toddler girl picks up everything! Her vocabulary is unreal and she started talking at an earlier age than the boys too. She turns two next week and I may just start her in kindergarten with her brothers 😜😂

Hi guys! Loved the Q&A... y'all are too cute! Here's my unsolicited advice concerning your pool...GO BIG OR GO HOME!! With all your friends and family (and potentially growing your family), you will not regret having that extra bit of space. We had a recreational pool with the ends being 4 feet and a bit deeper in the middle for volleyball. The great thing is all the fun memories we made as a family and , our children loved inviting friends over so we got to know who they were hanging with. I'm excited for your future plans and very happy that Katie and Travis are moving nearby! Oh and baby Hailey...of course!❤

Puppy pee pads. Put one down, then a mattress protector, then a sheet, then repeat the layers. That way if there is an accident in the middle of the night, you just rip a layer off and get them back in bed. No fuss with having to remake the bed in the middle of the night.

2 things! Lolz, the timing of that question about Carlin being controling was hilarious! As she had just settled herself from physically removing that dud perfect bracelette! bahahahahaha Carlin, I don't see you being controling but that was hilarious. Second, my oldest purposefully peed in her pullups so she wouldn't have to get up to pee at night. She finally decided at 5 that she'd wear underwear to bed. She had maybe 4 accidents but that's it. Oh! And I bribed her with a Peppa Pig RV toy after 5 dry mornings. Just to prove it was her choice. And yes, absokutely have mattress pads under the sheets. Ugh. Someday you're gonna have throw up to clean. You don't want anything in the mattress. Love yall soooo much!🎉❤

For the potty training… I am sure everyone has their own approach. For us, when it comes to night time, I have just let them grow out of it. I am not one to wake up during the night to make them go. Ha. Our first one was nighttime trained and then reverted. I just let her sleep in pull-ups until she outgrew it. And our 2nd one eventually stopped wetting at night also. I’m using the same approach for #3. He is daytime trained but naps/sleeps in pull-ups. I feel like it’s different when they’re awake and are aware of needing to go vs at night when they’re in la-la land. That’s what has worked for us so far. I also think children mature at different ages so some may wet the bed at night longer than others.
