Hi Olivia, I really like your videos, they truly showcase the work of a Product Owner. I have previously worked in Project Management and now I'm considering transitioning to a Product Owner role. After watching your videos, I feel there is a lot of overlap between the work of a Product Owner and Project Management, such as documentation... is that correct? I was wondering if you also do some design/prototyping work and user interviews, which I feel are the most enjoyable part of being a PO😁

Hey, thanks for watching my videos and make a comment. Yes, Product mgmt and project mgmt overlap in some aspects. But the tricky part for product mgmt is the business and technical strategies. And I could definitely share some insights on design and user interviews in other videos. Stay tuned!

So u have Designers in ur Team? Are they doing UI or is it more like system design?

In my experience, UI designers would not work on system design. There are three types systems in my mind and the 1) information architecture design, handled by UX designers, 2) software architecture, handled by architecture engineers, 3) business system, I think business analysts and business system engineers can both work on this.
