@@simonegraham1781 Thanks for your question. Consider Colossians 2:16-17. Colossians 2:16-17 (NASB) 16 Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-- 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. Regarding Colossians 2:16. Paul is speaking of the ceremonial ordinances associated with the sacrificial system. The sacrificial system and the festivals are described in Leviticus 23 (which we addressed in detail in our video). In summary, the festivals included the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles. In Leviticus 23, there are seven distinct “sabbaths” associated with the Feasts. These days are not the seventh-day Sabbath, but rest days directly associated with the Feasts. (note: The seventh-day Sabbath is part of the 10 commandments which was not done away with.) Paul is essentially saying that 1) the food and drink; 2) the new moons; and 3) the sabbaths are all related to the ceremonial system. That system was done away with at the cross of Christ. Meaning, it was no longer required to observe food and drink, new moons, and the “sabbaths” associated with the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the new grain offering (Pentecost), the blowing of trumpets, the Day of Atonement, or the Feast of Tabernacles. Verse 17 is the key. These things are a shadow of what is to come. It’s important to note that shadows have no substance, however, it is cast by something substantial. The Jewish ceremonies were shadows cast by heavenly realities. The ceremonial ordinances were only shadows of Christ Himself. As we point out in our video, Christ is our Passover. See 1 Cor 5:7-8. 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 (NASB) 7 Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Our videos point out that the feasts point to Christ’s first coming as well as His second coming. They are all fulfilled in Christ Himself. There is no need to observe them like the Jews did in ancient Israel. However, notice Jesus’ words in Luke 22:19-20 at the Passover meal (which He will fulfill through His own blood). Notice that Jesus tells the disciples to remember Him with bread and the cup. Luke 22:19-20 (NASB) 19 And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. This is communion as practiced in Church today. Nevertheless, there are many sincere, pious Christians today that “recognize” the feasts, and observe them in various ways. They are not doing it to fulfill any religious requirement. Rather they do it to remind them that their substance is in Christ. Take for example Easter, i.e. Good Friday through Sunday recognizes Passover and the Wave Sheaf. Again, they point us to Christ, the substance of the feasts. Pentecost would recognize our need for the Holy Spirit in our lives to live and walk obediently to God’s righteous moral Law. The trumpets, atonement, and tabernacles all point to the second coming of Christ. Regarding the trumpets and atonement, there is no longer a temple sacrificial system. Christ fulfilled it at the cross. As you saw in the video, the trumpets and atonement are pointing us to the time prophecies as we graphically displayed their fulfillment.

@@AngelsintheGlen thanks for the reply. I want to be a part of the body of Christ but I'm so confused to keep or not to keep the feast day. I don't believe we are to keep them as the Israelites do but... Keep them somehow. I do believe that the seventh day Sabbath must be kept for sure. I was wondering what church you belong to. I was raised in the church. My father was a Pentecostal minister and many of those churches at the time were very small. In fact much of the time I was the only child attending. I longed to go to bigger churches of my friends. But being alone had an unknown influence. Fast forward several decades of being nearly spiritually dead I developed health issues that prompted me to try to seek forgiveness. I know I’m forgiven even though I have difficulty acknowledging my ability to be forgiven. (I know I am as the word of God has become a nectar). I write this as someone with a great desire to understand scripture. I know 2020 has been a shaking for the whole world and I’m listening. I’ve read the Bible through starting this past June and finished in late November. Now I’m studying the Gospels and have been praying for a study subject. I began studying the feasts and found your lessons. Thank you for these. While prayers are always appreciated my reason for writing is to let you know I’m grateful you posted these lessons and I’m excited to hear your teaching. Those years alone in church had impact on me I wasn’t noticing. But I learned how to pray and I did from time to time. Now my illness has brought me home. If I could be healed I’d rather pass it on to someone else. It’s made me the best version of myself and if God decides to use me there will be no doubt of His will. Life is good.

@AngelsintheGlen
@AngelsintheGlen 3 жыл бұрын
There are no summer feasts. The summer represents a time between the fourth and fifth feasts where there is little to no rain. As such, the summer represents the spiritual drought that the Church experienced during their captivity by the little horn of Daniel 7. This was a time when the truth of the Bible was obscured. However, at the end of the captivity, the light of God's word started to shine brightly and the Church was refreshed with spiritual insights. Please watch our Daniel 7, 8, and 9 videos to understand the little horn and the significance of these events. See links below. We refer to modern times because that is exactly what the Bible teaches. Christ is coming soon and He wants His people ready for His soon return. End time events are about to unfold across the globe and God wants His people to know with certainty what must take place and unmask the deceptions of Satan. We explain all of that in our series. I watched part 1 and really enjoyed it and found it useful. I’m right along with you until you conflate Daniel prophecy that coincides with the end times in revelation and as strictly a spiritual meaning. If you read on down past where you stopped in Dan8:18 Gabriel explains the vision that was just given to Daniel and explains that the vision is referring to the literal end times not a spiritualized version. There are prophecies that come before Daniel 8 that have not yet come to pass. I would strongly encourage people to look into the research done by Don Perkins on bible prophecy. You have to cut out a LOOOOOOOT of scripture and completely dismantle the meaning of verses in context to make the assumption that Daniel 8 was fulfilled in the 1800’s. I have no doubt your heart is in the right place and there are many different views on this but there is no way to have Daniel 8 be even remotely fulfilled until a new temple is built in Jerusalem. The Jews weren’t even a nation for almost 2000 years until 1945. How could there have been day and night sacrifices displeasing to God as an abomination if the Jews have been in exile and the temple in ruins since 70AD? I would encourage you to not spiritualize prophecy unless it explicitly tells you to do so. And if a meaning to the prophecy is stated clearly (I.e. Daniel 8:15-27) then make sure you read the explanation carefully and don’t convolute it to mean something it doesn’t. If you compare the explanation given to similar passages in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Revelation it’s clearly talking about the end times and the rise and fall of the Antichrist. Compare scripture with scripture pray. If an idea you have conflicts then you need to rethink the idea

When we say spiritual, we are not saying something that is intangible (per se). The spiritual application is a real and tangible manifestation of something. For example, when Jesus says to tear down this temple and in three days I will raise it up, the Jews responded incredulously and asked how that would be possible since it took 46 years to build the temple. They were evaluating His statement from a literal/physical perspective. We know that Jesus was speaking spiritually and talking about His death and resurrection. Nicodemus does the same thing. The idea of being born again was foreign to him. He states an impossible situation and questions how someone can enter again into his mothers womb. Here too, he misses Jesus spiritual re-birth through the Holy Spirit and becoming children of God. The woman at the well does the same thing. She says to give her the water so she won’t have to come to the well anymore. She was thinking literally and physically, but the water Jesus offered her was the spiritual application that being the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Back to back stories in John 2, 3, and 4. The Bible has many more. A misapplication between the literal and the spiritual is the biggest error circulating in the Christian Church today. Many are looking to literal/physical/geographic Jerusalem for the fulfillment of prophecy. Unfortunately, this is error and deception. Nevertheless, we consider those who believe that are sincere, innocent, and God fearing Christians. They are simply in error. We recommend you critically evaluate our Daniel 8 and 9 videos. (It’s possible you happened to come by our feasts video with the context of our exegesis on Daniel 8 and 9.) Daniel 8 and 9 contain the two most important time prophecies for the church because they both point to Jesus Christ. Not only that, but Daniel sees two visions in Daniel 8. Those visions are the 2300 and the 70 week time prophecies. The key to understanding these chapters and the remaining book of Daniel is properly understanding that the visions are distinct but related. They both have the same starting point and give us insights into our place in history and the return of Christ. We’ll leave you with this thought. Back to the idea of the literal and the spiritual. Daniel 8:13-14 talks about a holy place and its restoration. What is the holy place? Is it a literal physical temple? (Many sincere Christians believe that it is a literal/physical temple) Or could it be something different? In context, the holy place is God’s heavenly sanctuary, connected to God’s people on earth through Jesus Christ, their High Priest. It’s essential to recognize that the holy place is both the heavenly sanctuary in heaven and God’s people, His Church, on earth. Both are inextricably connected through Christ Jesus Himself. Notice the following NT scriptures that help us discern this great truth. [brackets for emphasis] Ephesians 2:19-22 (NASB) 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and are of God’s household, 20 having been [built on the foundation] of the apostles and prophets, [Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone], 21 in whom the whole [building], being fitted together, is growing into a [holy temple] in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into [a dwelling of God in the Spirit.] Christ is the head and the church is the body. Ephesians 5:23; 1:22-23; 4:15; Colossians 2:19 1 Corinthians 3:9 (NASB) 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, [God’s building.] 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NASB) 16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If any man destroys the [temple of God], God will destroy him, for the [temple of God is holy], and that is what you are. I Corinthians 6:19 (NASB) 19 Or do you not know that [your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you], whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? Again, please critically evaluate our Daniel 8 and 9 videos. Consider our detailed study guides. We believe you are a sincere and God fearing Christian. And we recognize at the end of the day we may simple have to agree to disagree.

@@AngelsintheGlen Thank you for sharing a break down of the feasts/holy days and the prophetic meanings pointing to the first coming and second coming of Messiah Yeshua. I agree with the spiritual application, but cannot understand why SDAs do not observe the feast days. Being brought up SDA, I know that the church has a profound prophetic understanding of the spiritual temple within the body of Messiah and how it relates to prophecy. However, if we are indeed His temple, to outwardly observe His Sabbaths and Moedim to the best of our spiritual knowledge living in "Egypt", we are an inwardly embodiment of His temple, a set apart people. I only raise this concern and know what truly matters is our daily walk with Yeshua, but if we really desire to follow Him, wouldn't we desire to observe His feasts in remembrance of His first and in spiritual preparation for His second coming? As Ephesians 6:11-12 state, "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." As Yah's children (His pure vessels) wouldn't it be our very desire to place within His bodily temple, the very life giving beath/spirit of Yeshua (our High Priest) in preparation for spiritual warfare that is taking place now? I saw that God had children who do not see and keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it. And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully. This enraged the churches and nominal Adventists, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth. And at this time God's chosen all saw clearly that we had the truth, and they came out and endured the persecution with us. I saw the sword, famine, pestilence, and great confusion in the land. The wicked thought that we had brought the judgments upon them, and they rose up and took counsel to rid the earth of us, thinking that then the evil would be stayed. CET 93.2

I think that 1844 is not the exact year . I hope you consider this calculation . time and times and a half = 1260 day or 3⅕ times 1 time =360 days ( bible rule ) Ok so a day for a year (bible rule ) (Ezekiel 4:6 )(numbers 14:34) 360×7=2520 The gentiles times starts from 607 BCE So 2520_606=1914 world war 1 ..... end of gentiles times jesus or mikhael wins the battle over satan and his angels and he is kicked down to earth . Now we are in the end days since 1914

We recommend you watch our entire Daniel series starting with our Daniel 1 video. The series will show how all the time prophecies unfold and their relations. This includes the time, time and half a time, the 70 week, the 1290, the 1335, and the 2300 evenings and mornings. These prophecies reveal the work of Christ at the cross, what happens to His church (apostasy), and His preparations to restore His church before His second coming. Our Daniel videos simply set the stage to understand the events that must take place before Christ returns. We explain all this in our Revelation 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 videos. Simply put, this is the three angels' message. It is the most important message for the entire world. End-time events are about to unfold. It's not a time to fear but to be ready. Please consider watching our entire series. Please critically evaluate everything we say. Daniel 1 video link here: www.angelsintheglen.org/daniel1
