@@messagesofChrist This explains why the Lord made that enigmatic statement on the last day about the living waters. He always took opportunity to teach new things whenever something occurred that was important to the people, in this case the pouring out of water from the Spring of Siloam. This statement of His had to ring so clearly to everybody when He made it at the time He did that only the most stiff-necked would deny its importance. I never heard this teaching before but today, on the Last Great Day, 2020, I know this teaching is a gift from Christ and His Father to me. Thanks a million times for being Their willing messengers!

Laurie Nordin The Feast of Tabernacles is seven days long. The first day is a holy day. The week long festival represents God’s 1000 year millennial reign on earth after Christ’s return. The eighth day is The Last Great Day. It represents Gods final Judgement (the second and third resurrections) and then comes welcoming in his new heaven and new earth. I am not Jewish but have always celebrated these days as God has commanded us to do.

Wow, so much to learn. Finally being told those things we should have known all our lives...I wonder had the church not been persecuted and highjacked by the romans from the beginning... would those marvelous times with God have become our daily bread also as Gentiles? Keeping the sabbaths could have become our common practice as Christians...instead we find ourselves in ignorance only knowing a part of the gospel. What a waste of time, living out of sync with God's time. Maybe those apostles who wanted the new Christians to learn the Jewish faith were right after all.
@angieb81844 жыл бұрын
Gina Hochstein, it's TRUE what you've written! After always striving to know more. Reading the scriptures & doing my own research the Ruak ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) opened my eyes. We should be keeping the Sabath day Holy as it IS a Commandment. We should also be keeping His feast days & forsake the pagan holidays such as Christmas etc.which, as we know are man made. We the 'gentiles' were grafted into the true vine & so we who believed have become one with His children. Therefore it's never too late to change & follow these things. As in Mark 7:21 many will say Lord, Lord didn't we proffesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, do signs & wonders in your name. Then He will say go away from me I never knew you! If we love Him we keep His Commandments and honour His Sabaths & keep His feast days. This is how He knows us & that we love & follow Him. Yashuah(jesus) kept these when He lived on the earth. He set us an example by doing these things. He said my word shall NOT pass away! May He Bless you in your walk with Him dear sister 🙏❤ Shalom
@esmeraldagreen19924 жыл бұрын
Gina and Angela, with the coming of Christ we are NOT obligated to follow the law of Moses The Apostle Paul taught that the law was the guide (pedagogus) that would lead Israel to the Messiah. Once the Messiah came he enacted a more spiritual higher law that did not require all the observances of the Mosaic law. Paul called these observances " vain works", he also explained that the law acted like a slave master for those who were subjected to it, he also explained that once someone becames a follower of Jesus Christ they are made free in him, so why would a Christian who has been freed by Jesus hobble himself or herself with the observances of the Law?
@angieb81844 жыл бұрын
@@esmeraldagreen1992 dear sister thankyou but the "vain works" were directed to the pharisees who added SO MANY of their own laws in. They were hypocrites because they would stand in public & pray for all to see, instead of praying privately. When they fasted etc they did it so that all would know they were fasting etc, etc etc. That's why Yashuah rebuked them saying you know the Scriptures yet you are blind because they failed to recognize Him & who HE was. Many are the broad paths that lead to destruction but narrow is the path that leads to Salvation. The Torah works together with the new testament. He said until this world passed away not one jot nor tittle shall be removed !! Shalom 🙏
@SweetTea-Stephens3 жыл бұрын
@@esmeraldagreen1992 so Paul overrides Gods word he spoke himself? Passover in exodus clearly states this feast is COMMANDED to be done forever! ““‘This will be a day for you to remember and celebrate as a festival to ADONAI; from generation to generation you are to celebrate it by a perpetual regulation.” Sh'mot (Exo) 12:14 CJB Nkjv says everlasting ordinance! God is clear that this is to be FOREVER celebrated. It’s the same with the other feasts. 3 more found in exo 23 (feast of harvest and unleavened bread (matzah). and feast of ungathering. And God states clearly what the curses will be for not following him and the blessing if we shall. You should read the rest of that chapter. What’s sadder is I’m Jewish and didn’t follow these for a long time because I allowed the Christian church to tell me I didn’t have to. Garbage we absolutely do. God commanded. Paul only said in Corinthians not make it a stumbling block. The people of Corinth were new followers of The Way and it was causing arguments and discord among the people there. So he said not to let it be a stumbling block because he could deter people away from Christ. But as seasoned followers it shouldn’t be a stumbling block. You should know and WANT to follow Yeshua in all ways as commanded. Jesus said if you love me you will follow my commands. He also said I did not come to abolish (abolish means to completely take away, to void, to make disappear, vanish etc) so I did NOT come to ABOLISH the LAW but to fulfill it!! Meaning no one can follow the law without sin and he fulfilled the law by being the savior that’s the punishment away from us for us not being able to be sinless. He didn’t come to make it null and void! If you consistently in your life don’t want to follow his word and ways in every way, then can that person truly say they are a follower of his. Since you place Paul above God himself with his words, Paul says in romans 6 (I suggest you read that chapter as well) just because we are saved by grace through faith does that mean we can just go and sin? His answer, No! For if you loved the Lord you will not want to sin! It’s a thin line of course but you’re old self should die to a new life in Yeshua. And the Spirit makes you want to show fruits and do as God has willed. So yes, you should be following Gods feasts. I would include Purim And hanukah in that as well. Tho not commanded as the others they are in scripture and Jesus himself did in fact celebrate them. Purim is found in Esther and actually is a good feast and the kids dress up in costumes to show how Gods hand was hidden but always there. Make food and donate it to someone in need (fire dept, police or homeless or widow etc) and hanukah is found not only in David’s and solomons story where the dedicated the temple but also in John chapter 10 and Yeshua himself was in the temple during hanukah (hanukah means dedication in English so also known as festival of dedication) which is where you would be during the feast back then, when he spoke to the pharisees. So I don’t understand how the Christian church has gotten so far away from the Lords word and path. How Christians today, like you, make such false statements that Jesus never stated nor did God and then twist that one scripture in Corinthians to make it seem you don’t have to do anything since Christ died; like our obligation to obey his WHOLE word just stopped! It didn’t. From beginning to end of his scripture he says to obey. Period. God bless and I pray God speaks to your heart on this topic. He made it clear to me years ago and I’ve never been closer to God than I have been following his feasts all year long. My kids and family as well. I pray that happens to you as well. Shalom

Wow, out of all my years of knowing from a little to a lot of Christ I have never heard of such a beautiful practice. In fact, not one church I've been to has ever practiced this. Why?
@messagesofChrist2 жыл бұрын
Good question. I think a lot of churches skip many parts of the Old Testament because they say the law was fulfilled by Christ, so we don’t need to learn it. While it is true that the law was fulfilled in Christ, there are still so many beautiful connections and symbols that help teach us he Savior.

As a gentile Christian man, I have found there is a benefit in celebrating the LORD's feasts. I understand we are not under law but grace. Just as there is a benefit to tithing, so I believe there is a benefit in celebrating the LORD's appointed days & times through his feasts. What would happen if one decided to tithe & celebrate the LORD's feasts ? I love you Jesus!

This is for only people who can understand and know what i am talking about... I have been trying to announce God has given me since 2008 and this is Isaiah 60-62. At first I couldn't understand this scripture, All I knew was that it sounded good in the ears and then i studied it. Years and years came and I slowly got to understand it and announce it to all. Today this is what i understand... This scriptures is the feast of tabernacle or popularly known as the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This scripture is personally meant for me as blessings are personal as like God favored abraham individually, Isaac individually and Jacob individually. Some also like David God favored him individually and others etc. I am having a hard time understanding because there are lots of words but now i can fathom it better. The scripture Isaiah 60-62 is a favor for me individually but this scripture has present and future words. As it was said GATE or your gate stands open which means I am the gate of the Jubilee or feast of tabernacle and those who enter it find rest or as it says will have also received the redemption as God the father stated it in Isaiah 62:8-9 Isaiah 62:8-9 New International Version 8 The Lord has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled; 9 but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.” This simply means if you follow me you will drink the provisions God set in this season of feast of tabernacle or abswelto or your free indeed from Satan's captivity. My work is to announce this feast of the Lord for this season and its up to you to accept it or not...God chooses a person according to his will and wisdom and i was chosen by God to be the gate of the jubilee year for this season
