The battle had to have taken several days just out of pure necessity (it took 2 weeks to evacuate even half the planet). The main fleet of the Gallenteans would also have been at Gallente Prime, the two homeworld planets are in the same system so they would have merely warped to each other. The whole point is that it was a hopeless battle, but what they were doing was delaying the Gallenteans.

Just started playing eve again and this was the second video I searched for to get me back in the vibe. First was the dominion trailer, which led me to this one. Took some searching because I couldn't remember the title, but eventually found it..and so glad I did. I've been a Gallente pilot for some 14 years now but, I gotta say.. If you follow the storylines..some of this stuff really hits you in the feels.

Extend it with a profound story about friendship, betrayal and penitence, add some smaller combat scenes during the story and let all lines of action climax in one final epic battle (wich lasts half of the 3-4 hour movie ;-) ) . But dont forget: The bright hero MUST die converting his former antogonist into the reformed antihero. This is what the true substance is made of. No one will forget this movie!!! THIS WOULD BE A SO CALLED BLOCKBUSTER !!!

No where else have I seen such excellent directing and editing in a fan made video. All by one person. And Stevie Ward sounds incredible. One thing I think they should have included was that Tovil Toba stalled the Gallente forces for a week using guerilla tactics. He also eliminated the extremist government by crashing the carrier into their headquarters on the planet.

Actually the description on the dominix puts it's origins around the Gallente-Caldari war, if I remember correctly. They're just relatively recent in-game. And awesome video, just awesome.

@HeavyForces actually, according to the lore, the "navy" versions are the original ships, normally used by empire military, while "standard" versions we get to build and use en masse are refit and depowered versions, so all those ships should actually be navy (except perhaps the caldari ones, that were more of a militia than a regular army at that time).

Thanks for the feedback mate. I tried to keep the ships as close to what I could find as possible, but it's hard to keep things interesting otherwise. :D Really, the drones weren't around during this exact chronicle (they came in the next one), and the Chimera was probably not in this form due to being a water carrier at the time. The dominix is mentioned as being involved though (check the description ingame) - but not mentioned in the Chronicles at all. It's all very confusing! :)

Thank you for your compliments sir. :) I used After Effects CS3 for all the composite shots and filters on the Eve shots. Premiere helped in arranging and syncing the audio, but the bulk of the work was in AE.
