Awsome awsome awsome, wasn’t even born by then but such a awsome nostalgic feel, ABs and Rugby how much things have changed since then, almost wish the sport never became professional

Bear in mind, fashion at this world cup was more designed than normally worn in the high street. Leisure wear companies were desperate to get their designs and patterns onto travelling teams like the All Blacks. There were plenty of clothing company execs bringing samples back to their bemused kids or catalogue companies showcasing clothes that nobody in their right minds would actually wear.

I remember buying an expensive Puma shellsuit in a sports shop in London in 1991, along with a pair of Reebok Pumps. The boots with the orange basketball on the front of the tongue, which was the pump. If only I had a mint original pair of them now......

AB's training at Takapuna RFC's Onewa Domain or Hato Petera college , those were the days indeed. I was at the AB's v Baa Baas game at Onewa Domain .I was still at Westlake Boys high school and we all got to run on the field and meet our heroes at the end of the game . AJ Whetton is still an entertaining man . I saw him at a Ponsonby v Grammar game at Western Springs . He entertained us all no end

It took 16years for the ABs to "bounce back" from that Lansdowne loss to Australia and win another World Cup it took a while so they decided to win 2 in a row 2011/2015

Wow loved it!!!! Iceman, jk, loey the thug, zinzan and his bro, Terry Wright, frank, walter, Hayman the prop who never took a step back and the conductor Fox. Who have I forgotten? Two Bernies wtf was the other one doing there? We were so lucky to be part of it. Ask me to name 4 abs of today and I'd struggle. Is it my dementia or the demise of all black rugby?
