Keeping a work-life balance is hard but if it was easy, everyone would do it right? I took the initiative to take time off work to go see my family in Jeju. Sometimes I get so caught up at work that I forget there's a whole big world outside of the company. Being able to take a break from the city and instead be surrounded by the calm, quiet nature and beach in Jeju island is the perfect escape for me. Not just these trips but catching up with friends, going on picnics, baking together are simple activities that remind me that I'm more than just my work you know?
