Cool Dudes Walking Club

Күн бұрын

The first day of my Norfolk Coastal Path walk. It is 85 miles long, stretching from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea. My trip took six days, and this first leg was from Hunstanton to Burnham Overy Staithe, taking in Thornham and Burnham. A great start.
If you enjoyed this video, and want to help me make more, it would be really great if you joined the Cool Dudes Walking Club. You can join on KZbin Channel’s main page and click join to pay a monthly amount via youtube.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me.

Be careful what you give a name to as it can get creepy. One day I fed a hungry Pigeon/Rock Dove in my garden. I called it Allen. Allen Partridge. The next day I fed two pigeons. Not knowing which one was Allen I decided to call them both Allen. Over the last few years I now feed dozens of pigeons daily all called Allen. If you look out any window in my house there is at least one to a dozen Allen’s staring at me. They follow me room to room staring through the window. When I’m working they stand on the dog house outside my office window, tap dance slowly and stare at me. When I wake in the morning and open the blinds… dozens of Allen’s waiting for me. Now friends & family ask me how are the Allen’s. What can you say… fine thanks. When strangers come to my house they inevitably comment on the fat Pigeon sitting looking at us. I say oh that’s Allen. Everyone thinks I’m so weird because of my Allen’s. Then they say oh look there’s another and another. Wow they are really fat. I say oh that’s Allen, and that’s Allen too. I am surrounded dozens of fat flying stalker Allen Partridge’s. Anyway… now I can’t move because of the Allen’s. Who would feed the Allen’s. All because I named a pigeon.

Another delightful watch! Looking forward to the rest of the Norfolk costal path series! I too name many household items/plants. All my cars have had names of course (we currently have George and Captain Tilly, but my first car was an old mini called Geraldine named after the goat in The Good Life, followed by my 2nd old mini Monty!) However, the most stand out item I had was François. He was a blue Le Creuset baking dish my mom bought for me to take to uni...many a delicious pasta bake was made in François. He was sadly killed by a housemate of mine in a freak accident (he fell out the oven) and she kindly replaced him with a much larger Lakeland baking dish, who is affectionately known as 'Fake François'! Also of note is Penelope my apple tree, who I grew from a pink lady apple seed in my first year at uni to have as a pet. She is planted in my mom's front garden in Cowes as she became to big for her pot some years ago, she's now over 10ft tall!

Been there, drank at the original Lord Nelson pub in Burnham Thorpe where Horatio use to drink. It was called The Plough but after the English deafeted the French in the naval wars on the River Nile over the cotton trade in the late seventeen hundreds. So in his honour it was renamed The Lord Nelson.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

@@cdwc It is pal and if you go to the Church over the Field opposite the pub the Royal Navy Ensign flag is in there along with Nelsons parents who was buried inside after they passed away. Nelsons father was the parishioner of the church and it was built by flint collected in the surrounding feilds.

Great video Cool Dude & well done on capturing the Sunset & some interesting info about East Coast Sunsets too! I keep playing the beginning over & over again just to see the Sunset! A cool close up of the Lizard & Blackberries, (did you stop to pick any blackberries?) I like your 'Son of Wango' cutting, you've just reminded me I need to take Bizzie Lizzie & Geranium cuttings. I don't have much luck with houseplants, they tend to wilt on me probably caused by overwatering, think I need to start singing or talking to them!😀 Object names - I call my Fiat Panda, My little Pandy!🚘 Down the middle - I chose B....oops! Looking forward to Episode 2 Cool Dude! Take Care & Stay Cool!🙂🚶‍♂️

Sunday morning marmite on toast with Marek. It could become a tradition. I've got a hat called Barry. I named him after my uncle when he passed away. Who wouldn't want a hat named after them? Ps. If you print Geoffrey de Larwode (circa 1200ad!) on the back of your white T-Shirts I'd get one...
