THIS! I wished more trading youtubers were as calm and as collected and as real as you and ICT. After ICT, I use to not like anyone because they are always too hopped up on goof balls and moving the chart around like a maniac showing their impulsive personaility which is not well suited for a trader so I never really liked to watch them. Calmness and showing realistic results grabs my attention

The winrate can very well be higher than 35% of Captain Backtest with even fewer trades. Sometimes it breaks the range and places order late, other times it breaks the range and the stoploss is too small and bias can also be wrong. If you use patience and correlations you can achieve a high win rate. Also, I backtested it back a year ago, it's amazing!

Pretty cool! I'll have to backtest this myself. Another simple way to get in on trends is with the 5min 9EMA. Indicators generally suck, but if price has a small pull back to the 9EMA while it's lined up with an FVG, it tends to respect it and get some continuation. This is a good way to see when a trend may be getting exhausted too. If it starts pulling back to the 9EMA with no FVG's there to support price, it can possibly begin consolidating or even reversing.

I have to say a big thank you for this video Tanja. I know it has been there for a while now, but I had a problem...and that was I would enter too soon after the open of the market and just thinking or deciding that before 10 wasn't a good idea just didn't keep me out of it. If I saw a good discounted FVG I would want to buy it, or vice versa...but this trade--while it kept me busy with the setup by marking times etc. has kept me from getting in too early...The setup itself keeping me online to see which is taken out first high or low and then continuing with the rest of the setup. Will it always be my go to? Maybe not, but so far it has worked well for me and I would say much better win percentage than I was having between 9:15-10:00AM. So, thank you.

Even though both the NQ and ES set up and broke out at the top of range today (Tues the 14th), one should have weighted the fact that both had a huge run up on news at 8:30 this morning. I guess if they had moved back down and eventually broke out the bottom would have been a good trade.

I enjoy your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. My question is about today (11-9) on the NQ. After the range was established, we had a candle's wick penetrate the top of range and then retraced back into the zone and then the next candle penetrated the bottom of range. Does the second candle that went below the line trump the first candle or do we still look for a long setup?

There is definitely something going on with the highs and or lows that get created between the times you gave us, 6am and 10am. I took one successful trade on EU on Friday, kinda like a TGIF one using your strategy you taught here. Hit TP on Monday as I had PDL as TP. Now on Monday yesterday, same pair, I took a loss, even tho I saw all confirmations, range broken to the downside, retracement on m5, candle close below previous m5, however, even though I took a loss, I found out that these price levels between the 6am and 10am are significant levels, price after sweeping the low between the price range, it reversed and bought all the way to the high of the same 6am-10am range, so perhaps we should not just enter sells just because price wicked below or above, we should however see these levels as either continuation or reversal price points, meaning we should wait for more ICT confirmations than just a retrace and a m5 candle close, I do hope I am making sense. Anyways, thanks so much for the video my leader! Love from Harare, Zimbabwe. 😊
