Problem of 98% YT Trading related videos : A) Always, all the time one/few cherry picked chart is taken where that concept/strategy/setup would look most attractive. B) Always, all the time a very trending phase is taken to describe something. Never ever a ranging phase. Irony is around 70% time market stays in ranging phase. C) Almost all gets impressed after watching such videos first time and they wholeheartedly thank that youtuber. They also thank God as they get to see such priceless video. D) No KZbinr has guts/ability/confidence to show his/her order book entry and exit timings which shows they followed their own setup. Still we must watch YT videos because 2% YT videos could be game changer for a trader provided he/she can identify the trash within 3 minutes max. Good Luck !!

Something else I noticed; the initial green trend line was formed using data that, had this not been hand-picked, would not have been there yet to make it/create it. You can use it on any timeframe as well. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and Tori is the first person I've seen on KZbin that does what I do. It's incredibly effective, and takes a huge amount of stress out of trading.

even a 6 year old could understand this! there are markets where this type of strategies work horribly bad and some will work wonders, just pick a strategy and find a market where it works. all strategies are good, the problem is that most people are using them on the wrong markets, trendlines might work very good on long lasting ones, not the choppy ones where they are constantly being disrespected. i.e i trade EU with 1 setup and works very nicely, i tried it on UCHF and its horrible...well explained tori, wish you nothing but success

But the idea im trying to point out is that people expect one trading strategy fits every pair and end up constantly changing both which reduces the chance of success dramatically

@@bedroombully4 you can have a highly negative correlated pair that has similar behaviour and the approach still works fine, and no, EU has nothing to do with UCHF, they're around -6% correlation on the daily TF, or else you'd have the same price action. What im trying to say is that some people think that one approach or setup is a holy grail for all assets just because they backtested on one.

But what you don't show after the trend down is how to trade the next 2 months, from Feb to April, which is much more sideways. Back in 2022 when btc was at its cycle low, people where saying btc is done for it's going below $15k US it's going to zero. Well it's down 10% from mid March ath 2024 and now everyone is shitting themselves. That doesn't make any logical sense especially for crypto.Its just a shake out phase, chill people go zoom out at old charts. We are at around 1.4 trillion market cap and only growing, just wait and see the price next year in March it will double....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Rachael Campbell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Well if her rules are 3 touches then she would follow her 3 touch rule and do risk management. Same with 4 touches. If the pattern is a trend reversal after break of structure then she would follow risk management for the reversal. This is all assuming an understanding of the nature of the instrument and price action in relation to the market cycle which generally comes with time in the market and back testing. Breaks and retest along with other indicators are additional confluence but some people might not need that.

2:02 But the trendline is drawn with hindsight, using one of the touch points near the bottom of the trend. You wouldn't know to angle it there when price is at the very top. You could draw a similar one a bit earlier, but you essentially have to wait for at least 2 touches, maybe 3, before you enter.
