As a native Dallasite, I LOVE my city, especially Trinty Groves and Bishop Arts. Thanks for the visit young man 🙂

I think the nice folks at Hutchins BBQ in Frisco and McKinney would dispute your "King of Dallas Que" statement Chet....I'd love to see a BBQ off...between Hutchins and Pecan Lodge! Include Goldee's and Cattleack too!

Pecan Lodge is not that good in my opinion

Another tidbit of history....the area where you were riding the bicycle on the west side of the Trinity River bottom....in the later 1920's early 30's it was a Depression Era encampment where poorer people lived...Clyde Barrow's family moved there from Ellis County near Ennis when Clyde was a boy...then his dad later acquired a service station/ home a mile or so west of there at 2221 Singleton Blvd...that's where he lived when he met Bonnie, who lived a few miles west of that in what was called Cement City....the Barrow building is still standing there....Bonnie's school/high school is still out west on Chalk Hill Rd
