It's a very safe country to travel, even if you're a female traveling by yourself. The worst thing that can happen to you is you'll get your phone or wallet snatched in Saigon or Hanoi (but that probably happens less than touristy places like Paris, France). Violent crimes towards tourists are rare. Just don't hang out in sketchy places like Bui Vien (HCMC/Saigon) too late or places known to have drugs, prostitution, and such.

Hi Elle. Thanks for visiting my channel. Not during the sampan ride, but afterward, on the way to hiking Ngoa Long mountain, Hang Mua cave was just nearby. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to visit it as hiking took up most of my time. 😅😅
