I made my maiden solo trip to Vietnam, Hanoi back in 2014 and now I'm back again, this time to explore Ninh Binh, hailed as the Ha Long Bay on land and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Hello from bali..Thank you for the video..remind me back when i visit ninh binh last year december 2022...beautiful weather on december only 18 degrees.. we did trang an boat tour and hang mua and it was amazing experience... we will go back to hanoi again this december... weather on december in hanoi was lovely.... btw, love your video 😊

Thanks for a great video. What month did you visit Ninh Binh? I’m heading there in July so your info is really useful for planning. I noticed your grab didn’t show up one morning. Did you arrange the grab through your accommodation or the app? It concerns me about drivers not showing up especially when I have to leave and get to the airport. Any advice? Did you get sick at all or do you think you ate at places with good food hygiene?

I went in June. I arranged my transport to ninh binh via klook but they didn’t drop me off at my accommodation, so I had to grab a taxi. For that particular morning, it was very early hence no grab around the area. Didn’t get sick from the food there, I tend to avoid street side stalls

Unfortunately I didn't get it registered. Read that it's very slow/complicated so my advice is to just bring the drone and fly with the usual precautions

@@shawneydepp is the homestay far from Trang An? I noticed you took a cab to go there. Are all destinations you visited can be travel by bike? Can you share the map given by your homestay? More powers to your channel

It’s just a little further in. Would have to take a grab in but absolutely worth it. Not all are accessible by bicycle e.g. van long wetlands, bai dinh pagoda. I can’t share the map here but you can google the locations to have a sense. Hope this helps!

Hey I booked my transport from Klook (link in the description). I dropped off near ninh binh city and had to book a grab to my homestay
