Whitehaven, the beach is so fine, Nasa used the sand from there to construct the lens for the Hubble space telescope. Little quirky fact .

Whitehaven is amazing especially from above but having recently been road tripping for a few months on the west coast there a quite few amazing beaches over on that side as well. The colour of the water in Western Australia with their white sand beaches and brilliant blue water makes for some breath taking scenery. Luck Bay in the Cape Le Grande National Park in the south west (near Esperence) is world famous for its white sand, turquoise water and the kangaroos basking on the beach. I probably prefer Lucky Bay over Whitehaven because unlike the east coast it hasnt been exploited as much by the tourism industry its a bit more off the beaten track for international tourists and not as easy to get to..

Thanks for sharing that. Next time I'm in Oz, I will definitely check out the East Coast.

DEAD SEA SAND❤❤❤
@MorgansWorld76029 күн бұрын
Not quiet! I been to the Dead Sea, a few times in my life, and even though the Dead Sea is an awesome place, like being able to float on the water, the is no comparison to Whitehaven beach. Whitehaven beach, sand is a purer, finer quality harder to find almost anywhere else in the world.

Weewy intewethting. We can see you all enjoyed yourselves. A grand day indeed. And such a good video that I felt like I was there too. I have been there and done that years ago so your video brought back some good memories. Certainly a lovely part of Australia. There are many beaches and places just as beautiful in similar and different ways on this great land and its surrounding islands, but for sure, that area is one of the best. By the way, sea turtle numbers are rising here and around the world. That tends to happen when the ratio of females to males increases. Looking forward to your next video.
@MorgansWorld760Ай бұрын
@just-a-fella3212 Cheers, for that, and now I do realise that Australia has many more wonderful beaches. Sometimes more, for me to look forward to

Did your tour to Whitehaven leave from Airlie Beach? I am also curious if the water was cold when you were snorkling as it is winter in Queensland at the moment. I live on the Southern Barrier reef and today was a pretty warm day but I am wondering if it was chilly in the water.
@MorgansWorld760Ай бұрын
Yes, it did leave from Airlie Beach. The water did not feel cold, but I did have a wet suit on, and I am from the UK, so I am fairly used to cold weather. You live in a great part of the world ❤
@TheGristonNarcissism-my4hjАй бұрын
@@MorgansWorld760 Thank you, a wet suit is a great idea. Even in summer the water can be quite cool out a distance from shore. During a snorkle trip in Cairns at the end of October last year in quite warm weather I was shivering like mad after getting out of the water, but no one else was. The other tourists on the boat from Scotland, US etc., were looking at me like I must have some abnormality LOL. It's definitely a great place to live here.
@MorgansWorld760Ай бұрын
@TheGristonNarcissism-my4hj lol. That is funny, and I totally understand that. A little bit about me. I spent 15 years of my life living in Texas. When I came back to the UK after all those years abroad, I was suffering a bit in the winter time. I then joined the army reserves, I climbed a few peaks reaching temps of -37c, in Aconcagua, Argentina and did a bit of cold weather training. The cold weather does not bother me as much now and I hate really hot nights, as I find it hard to sleep
