Today we took a speed boat adventure from Hvar Town to see the incredible island of Vis and its surroundings. We stopped in a secret military tunnel, hopped on a small wooden boat to enter the famous blue cave on Bisevo Island, had a lunch break in Komiza, then admired the beauty of Stiniva.
It was a great day on the water with our amazing captain Josko!

Komiza is one of our favorite places in Croatia. My wife's dad is from Hvar and mom is from Komiza so we are lucky to have a small little apartment right in the middle of town. It's a magical place. You used to be able to swim in the blue cave but no longer. To the south east of Vis island is the green cave on the tiny Ravnik island. You can still swim in that one.

I ❤️ Vis! I spent 10 days there in Aug/Sept and could stay much longer. So peaceful and charming, with special Croatian natural beauty. It was great to ‘go back’ with you here! 😀

@Goran, it's just because our travel agency is named Royal Croatian Tours (which is the main reason we opened the channel, to promote Croatia to foreigners and bring them here to see this beautiful country :) When the pandemic hit, we obviously had no business since all travel was cancelled, so we opened the channel under our agency's name to show future guests magical spots all over the country.

Na kraju Medvjedine špilje je najbolja "plaža" na Jadranu. Mali šljunčani sprud na koji se može ispružiti. U potpunom mraku. Treba sići sa broda u špilji i malo plivati dublje u špilju. Isplati se, samo treba ponijeti svjetlo.

Hi Sarah! Great vid. Watching it was like a beautiful and relaxing screensaver for my eyes. ;) Well Sofia got lulled by the boating and I was like wow....what a gorgeous cave and ARE THERE ANY BEARS HERE?! 😂 But seriously, the caves were, especially the Blue Cave, very impressive. I visited Vis several times, first time when I was seven, blue cave wasnt tourist destination i almost drowned there becouse i was lost, tankfully some divers rescued me. But it was worthed

Dear Sarah, as someone who's fluent in croatian, have you tried to speak with people of Komiža? We don't understand them hahahahahaha People from two villages can't understand each other. E. G. They changed "S" with "Š" so fish "skuša" (eng. mackerel) they actually pronounce "škusa". As a Split born and raised I can't stop laugh at that pronouncing.

We weren't in Komiza for too long, so we didn't meet many locals, but I loved that town, so we'll have to go back next summer and stay for longer. Then I'm sure I'll pick up some local dialect :)
