Tuk Tuk is probably a great option for those that dont ride, more open view than a car but but more enclosed than a bike. Looks like a fun destination either way.

From the luxury of my bedroom loft, and with the entire day off I can't do a decent job cutting together a few short clips from our recent Jamaica vacation, yet you two from what is most likely a hotel room bed juggle a bunch of memory cards and spit out awesome video after awesome video. Hi... amazing video! Me and my friend are going there in August... Do you need permission for your drone? Also is it safe to take a scooter in their highways? Waht about parking for it? Thank you for your advise!

Ian, I would say to be careful as scooters aren't legal in our highways. You would have to get a bike with more than a 50 cubic cm motor. Parking in Sintra specifically (and Lisboa in general) is hell, I would recommend you guys to go early in the morning on a week day, find a spot and then move around the city using the touristy ways. It's more expensive but it saves you the headaches (and your legs). However, it's easier with a bike, so maybe you can risk it! I hope you have a wonderful time in my beautiful country!

About the drone: I would advise you to have at least a ownership license. And you should do some research on which areas you can fly your drone (aka no fly zones). There were several incidents with airplanes and drones last year so be careful.

hey guys, im going to lisbon with my girlfriend in october, my eyes lit up when i saw you were able to get a 125cc moped "without a licence", as i live in ireland and you nearly need a licence for a bicycle here haha.. so im just curious what information did they require from you?

Haha, I don't know about the "without a license" part...they do require you to have at least a driver's license. I (Rafael) have a motorcycle license and an international license since we travel a lot but we weren't asked to show either when we booked. I would email the company directly to ask for any specifics. They are really cool and responsive! Sorry for the long answer but hope this helps and hope you both have a great time in the country! It's absolutely beautiful!!

Why do youtubers only like to visit lisbon, sintra, porto, etc.. when there are so many more beautiful places to visit? Try less known places , like in alentejo, litoral and interior, north interior. Stop going to the touristic places, you'll see that there are better places then lisbon or porto!!
