I need to remind myself to stop and take a minute. I need to stop forgetting breathe. I need realise that I can’t forever be engulfed in a world full of cubes, ores and animals. Like it said in the end poem, I am the player and I need to wake up. I will be okay, even during the bad times. Everything will eventually fall into place and I won’t be laid in bed, at 2am every night, crying to this soundtrack. Instead, I will be looking back and thanking it, because a game and it’s simple OST saved my life.

i had a my most successful survival world on my xbox 360. the world was called "thanksgiving break 2017" so i wouldn't forget when i made it lol,,everything thanksgiving break i would play on the world and have the best time,,, almost three years later, i've completely redone my room and it was time to say goodbye to my 360 and donate it. i spent so much of my time on that 360 and my minecraft world meant everything to me,,,and while i am somber, i know whoever gets it will be happy :-)

Holy crap, this is nuts. Mice on venus hit me right in the feels, playing minecraft with my best friend, finding temples and stealing crops from villagers. Most of these songs make me cry now but mice on venus hits different, it makes me sad but it also makes me hopeful. hopeful that i'll make more memories and make more friends and have more late night minecraft sessions. just because it's not 2012 anymore doesn't mean that we can't do what we used to enjoy anymore, sure it won't be the same but it's not over.

I still remember the first Minecraft world I ever made over a decade a go now. I told my friend that I got Minecraft on Xbox 360 and he told me we could play together. I created a world called "Best Friends" and we spawned in a dessert next to a village. We made a secret base in the village well with signs blocking the water. The world didn't go anywhere further than getting a couple diamonds but I still had a blast. From that day, I've loved Minecraft every since. One day I did something so incredibly stupid though. Being a child and not having any money to buy new games. I just got the Xbox One and after using it, I decided that I didn't need my Xbox 360 and could sell it at GameStop for $70. The thing that gave me years of memories, gone. Never to be seen again. All those Minecraft worlds I made. The Indie games I had bought for a dollar. Everything was gone. Now it's GameStops Frankenstein of a """Refurbished Console""". For years, I've regretted that decision and still kick myself about it. I don't think I'll ever get over it.

Also, I love the caption! However, my Minecraft nostalgia starts in 2013...one day, I watched my cousin play Minecraft "Pixels". It looked so cool, so I asked to have a try. My cousin gave me the Xbox controller, and as I played, there was something so nice about this game. Maybe it was the simplicity, maybe the music. Whatever it was, I fell in love with it. That year, I asked for Minecraft for my birthday. I remember especially playing the tutorial, building the little house, going fishing in the tiny pond, exploring the kingdom, searching through libraries and learning about potions, watching villagers do their thing, the big cobblestone paths, learning the ways to use redstone...those were good times! Just remembering it makes me so happy. So much has changed since then! Now and then I wish I could visit the days when I was a fresh new player, just 10 again. :)
