Young K and Eric Nam talked about it in Eric's podcast...that bands don't generally do as well as idol groups in Korea (with some exceptions) because somehow it's just the general public preference. They chart higher on itunes or Billboard sometimes compared to Korean charts, so when they were told they got #1 on a Korean chart before, they didn't even believe it until they saw it. And let's be honest, most of the time in kpop, being "big" is driven by fandom rather than just the music. Young K said it helped a lot that they're in a label like JYP; it does bring in fans that may not otherwise have been interested to check them out.

The thing abt DAY6 is (as told by Young K) they already know each of their voice really really really well. While writing music, they already picture in their head who’s gonna sing this part and who’s on that part. They can do anything with their vocal. That’s how well they known each other’s voice. They know the strong point and the weak point of each others.

I totally agree with you!! Day6 should be bigger. I feel like nothing beats amazing vocals, live instruments, and great lyrics. But, people seem to preferred synchronized choreography....😔

This song is one of Mydays' biggest flex because this proves how any Day6 member can literally do any part of their song. The intro says it all. The edit just didn't give that much of a justice because it's not just YoungK doing that "you make me" intro
