Let me tell you my theory for this mv. In their teaser pics there was a phrase says "vicious words hurt like a bullet". In the beginning you can see that the lady was saying harsh words to the guy, smirking at him and the colors around were a bit dark, then she started raising her fingers as a gun which present "vicious words" and started shooting the guy, then people in the back looked at that and they joined attacking him with vicious words as it means when someone is being harsh, people will join them and attack with them. The guy then raised his fingers but he didn't shoot anyone he just shot around of them but as you see he shot colors and it got brighter with colors which means that if you said vicious words to me, I'd not do like you, I'd be nice cause if I did like you, we'd just be in a closed circle of hating. That's what I saw the mv is trying to present

I take the mv this way( long comment ahead) Basicly, she shoots this guy with violence, he gets hurt. He just sits there amd takes all the pain without doing anything. Then all these new people (the girl's friends for example) and supports her through shooting him as well. Then the guy realizes that he can't just sit there and watch them so he fights back, but not with violence. He shoots them with something like "feelings". When he shoots them, they don't get hurt, but bright colors explodes around them, even themselves look suprised that they didn't get hurt. They realize that they can't fight him with violence since it didn't affect him (in this case maybe harsh words and anger), they need to be more mature in their way of talking to him etc. Also, I just realized that when he shoots back, the whole video becomes a lot brighter and saturated. This is just what came into my mind when I saw this, I'm sure there are many other stories that might fit better than this though.

The bullets are suppose to represent vicious words used in like a couples fight. Words hurt like bullets. In the MV, the girl 'shoots' the guy cus it make her feel better. But in the end we see when the guy 'shoots' back they are not hurt because he didn't shoot bullets (there's no holes in there clothes) It represents positivity (colourful explosions) and a sense of forgiveness. That's why the girl was confused and in the end we feel empathy for the guy- it's okay if I get hurt because, it's you...because I love you.

I think for the video, he didn't actually clapback. When she attacked him with bullets (words), he looks betrayed, but dealt with it, even when the spectacle got everyone else on board with her side. But if you notice when he starts to shoot back, his comes out as vibrant paint colors, and he doesn't actually shoot any of them (as you can see them inspecting themselves after he stops shooting). So he pretty much says that she can do whatever she has to do to make herself feel better, he can take it and he'll be okay, but he isn't going to stoop down and attack back. Killing them with kindness.

So when I saw this I interpreted this as a relationship where the girl is always almost verbally abusing him but he loves her so he rolls with it until one day he just explodes and can’t hold in his emotions anymore. It’s about verbal abuse rather than physical abuse but I love how they used a physical item (a handgun and bullets) to get the message across that words hurt just as much as actions.
