YOU are a daycare goddess, my friend! My goodness, I am so incredibly honored for the shoutout, especially by someone as organized and passionate as YOU!!! Love the food pages for the infants on the front of your cabinets! I would have NEVER thought of that!!

I used to go all out cooking breakfasts for mine then they all kept begging for cereal. So we have mostly cereal and oatmeal. And now I save my big breakfast ideas for brunch. They tend to eat it better when it’s served for lunch for some reason.

Thank you for the videos you post ~ I find them to be very helpful. I plan to open an in-home family preschool/childcare program in the future. The 'meat cruncher' tool you use from Pampered Chef is a wonderful idea!!! I have one from Farberware in my kitchen that I purchased from Walmart, I think. I'm sure they can be found in most stores in the kitchen department ~ where utensils, spatulas, and other similar items can be found.

Great video! I don't have any kids but I am going into early childhood development in school. My kitty loves banana and yogurt. I wondered where some of my yogurt and banana went when I accidently left it unattended, it was all over her whiskers. I did not know cats like that.

You do have great tips! I run Apple Tree Home Daycare in VA. I have my daycare parents provide their child's food, but I always end up providing food, as well. I keep a basket in my fridge from the dollar store for the fruit and veggies, but hadn't thought to use one for their cups. Great idea! I just started devoting an entire drawer in the fridge for just yogurt, as that's how much gets sent. I color code my kiddoes too and it really helps. I keep the yogurt sticks in the freezer. They seem to like them best frozen and it keeps longer. Congrats on your daycare!

These are all great suggestions! I love the basket for daycare fruits and veggies. Yes, color coding is so helpful! Do you have your daycare on Instagram? I would love to follow you.

How do you do meals for kids with allergies? Do parents provide the meals for the particular child with allergies?
@ClubbhouseKids2 жыл бұрын
Yes, if I a child with allergies I usually have parents provide alternative. Example being if child is allergic to dairy milk- parent would provide the milk the child drinks. I once had a child with a severe peanut allergy and his parents provided all meals and snacks.

I use that pampered chef masher as well! It’s amazing. I agree, I just love finding other providers that share the same passion for childcare. Subscribed to you both. Love your channels :)

Do your infants typically go by your meal plan? Do you have some parents that want you to follow their feeding instructions?
@ClubbhouseKids6 жыл бұрын
The majority of my parents do go with this meal plan. I do follow any changes the parents want to make. The most common one is not starting any foods until 6 months. Usually by 8 or 9 months all the kids are on this plan.

Because I'm in new Zealand I dontbprovide food in my daycare they come with their own lunch box's we could provide food if I want to but so dont

After children had drunk from those metal cups during morning mealtime, the cups with the rest of the milk cannot go to the fridge basket as they stand too tight to each other there and potentially are touching each other's mouth contact areas.
@ClubbhouseKids4 жыл бұрын
Yep! I think for what we are all experiencing now a lot of policies and the way we do things will be changing.

@@ClubbhouseKids Our policy (during COVID) is that our kids bring their own water bottles. It's way easier to keep track of their water intake each day. If we do serve milk (which would usually be in the afternoon) then we use those small glasses and rinse and sterilise them after each use.
