it's quite touching how before dennis arrives and charlie is all alone, he is singing about the nightman, drawing from his feelings of being outcast, abandoned, defeated. struggling to find the melody. then dennis arrives and charlie is able to compose a brilliant melody and now he's singing about the dayman. it's like dennis there in that moment was able to inspire charlie to sing about the dayman. almost as if, in that moment, dennis is charlie's dayman, pulling him from the pits of his own despair and igniting a new purpose within him. when you think about charlie as a character and what the dayman/nightman mean to him, this is a really beautiful scene.

This was the first clip of Always Sunny I've ever seen in my entire life. I thought the show was about a group of wacky friends who spend their lives coming up with zany endeavors like performance art to bond with each other and find their passions. I can't get over how normal Dennis was in this scene when he was talking to Charlie. LMAO

@goldengod59157 жыл бұрын
This is an incredibly sweet moment in the show. No one is being played or used in anyway for some scheme. All it is is two friends singing a song together. Also, at 1:27, we see Charlie reach to huff some spray-paint. Charlie quickly abandoned the idea of huffing it when Dennis told him no. Usually, Charlie escapes his sad reality by huffing glue or paint, but in this scene, he was truly happy just writing a song with his pal, so he didn't feel the strong need to huff. Dennis showed real compassion for Charlie, something not usually seen in the show.

It's just two men sharing each other It's just two men like loving brothers One on top and one on bottom One inside and one is out One is screaming, he's so happy The other's screaming a passionate shout It's the Nightman The feelings so wrong and right, man They're feeling so wrong and right, man I can't fight you, man When you come inside me And pin me down with your strong hands And I become The Night...
