I wrote and directed this segment along with Gareth Nolan. I also was the lead head stomping Ogron on the day. Amazing times with the Hyde Fundraisers and all thanks to Kevin for opportunities. The spirit is still willing, but the flesh is somewhat weaker!

Well done! That was a lot of fun. It's a strange thing to think when a fan production can afford to have more Daleks show up than the BBC original. Oh well. They did have a tight schedule to keep to in those days. And budget was always an issue.

Its a recreation of the original, I think it was wanting to join UNIT, that first got my interest in joining the Army. i loved the original.

The sound may be a bit out of sync but I find this way better than the actual battle scene from Day of the Daleks, plus the Dalek and Ogron voices sound better. My only gripe is you didn't add any laser effects; unless however that was your intent to make it similar to the actual story.

I allways found unit were useless in dr who they just held there gun and waited for it.yes this is much better than the bbc version should of had a bigger battle between unit and the daleks but good watching and organising
