Really appreciate the amazing videography, scenery, set up, drone usage, explanations and dialogue, etc! First class and I am impressed! Love how you guys worked through your strategy to fish the river. Lastly thank you so much for the honesty and transparency surrounding the fact that even the pros struggle sometimes, and that is part of the experience, the attraction, the love of the sport. Cheers guys, keep them coming. ❤

Thank you so much for the words of support! We try to teach and show exactly what happens on the water each day! We all struggle and that is part of the fun of learning new areas and fisheries! Some of our most popular shows are those when we get skunked! It happens to everyone and should be shown on TV as well! Thanks again!!!

Definitely the best outdoors channel in the PNW. No forcing merch and begging for subscribers like a few certain ones here in Washington.

I always appreciate your insight and knowledge. It was cool listening to Brandon, Ryan and yourself talk through what water you wanted to fish and thought would hold fish. Can’t wait for the day-2 video(s) to come out.

Thanks so much! We also did a stand up conversation with the local guide, Adam Hocking! He and I went through what we did wrong and how we need to fish on day 2! Check it out on our tech tip playlist and thanks so much for the support!

After learning so much from your experience at Buoy 10 it's fun to see you fishing my home waters since moving from Central Oregon 36 years ago. Thanks for sharing your experience.

9:07 - I think you need more scent on that plug lol
@DayOneOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
HAHAHA! Yeah...have to add a bit more than usual to be able to see it on camera! I always tell people when it comes to scent: "do you like ketchup on your burger? ...yes... Well, do you want the whole bottle on your burger? ...no... Same is true for the fish!"

At 6 months….is the fish still a good eater?
@DayOneOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
You bet! Summer steelhead hold their meat quality much better than winters. And, for whatever reason, possibly because of the immense distance these fish travel, their meat quality holds up much better than say a coastal fish! Possibly genetics but can't say for sure!

I will never understand the appeal of idaho steelhead or anadromous fish. Fishing a big dammed river back trolling bait and plugs below a hatchery intake how is that fun.
