I was about ready to ask the same question. Looking forward to the answer.

I make a yarn ball, thread it on my leader with a prawn threader down to a bobber stop.

nice Toby, i'm from PNW, but now stuck in idaho falls. i have the gel in anise, trout nitecrawler and garlic and was wondering if steelhead chomps on the fire jel. I miss my salmon and steelhead and i'm trying to move to orofino, or i might try lewiston. I must get back to a salmon steelhead river. c&r all the way. Hope to book a float with you one day

Tailing the fish with a cotton glove creates a lot of damage to the fish FYI Great video fish on!

Good God, those things look like they are about to spawn an die lol
@adventureanglingpnw18212 жыл бұрын
These are steelhead trout. They don't die after spawning like salmon. Once they spawn they go back out to the Pacific ocean. Most of these fish are repeat spawners. Some are estimated to be 4-5 years old and may have spawned at least 3-4 times in their life. Idaho manages their steelhead hatchery program very well compared to some rivers that are doing poor management.

tRUMP.....the maskless out of shape non fisherman, non hunter, non target shooter, who doesn't ride horses or hike, doesn't own pets, doesn't enjoy outdoor photography or enjoy the out of doors except for spending too much time at his failing golf courses....that tRUMP? There are still plenty of us here that see right past the train wreck that D.J.T. was. The only thing great about tRUMP was his constant complaining about how he avoided the draft, grabbed girls and how much money he has...or doesn't have. Wish I could pay just $750 in taxes every year. Nothing natural at all about D.J.T. I'll bet tRUMP doesn't even know what a wild steelhead is.

@@andrewhansen4179 You enjoy paying the current gas prices? That is all Biden and the Democraps forced green deal. I am sorry you are butt hurt but he did more for the USA than Obama, Bush's, and Clinton.
