Days 10-11: This might be the best hidden secret on the AT… (AT ThruHike 2024)

Getting absolutely POURED ON then reaching the North Carolina border… :’) What a couple of days.
ALSO - thruhikers, if you have the energy and the weather is right, push on to the top of Standing Indian Mountain and camp there!!! It’s not listed as a campsite on FarOut but there’s amazing labeled campsites up there and plenty of bear hangs. Don’t miss it :)
