I was leapfrogging Caboose's group through the Whites...was even able to spend some time at one of the huts with Phoenix. They are all really nice ladies, and even though we were only leapfrogging (not hiking together) it was comforting to see them each day through the Whites!

Me, too. He just happens to have been a rescue swimmer in the Navy. I was most worried about the river crossings. Thankfully, there haven't been any deeper than slightly above the knee, and currents have only been swift on one!

So glad for the generosity of people and hikers. I know it is hard to reach out for help. I rarely do it myself, but I always get surprised when people just pitch in when I had a wrestling match to voice I needed help. Glad your going to have great weather for the summit.
