Plants communicate with each other messages of stress, so it's entirely possible that some primordial part of your brain picked up something from that. There's a very real reason that certain areas of nature "feel off," and it's not hippy dippy at all. As science continues to explore more deeply into the life experience of plants, I suspect a lot more will be revealed about the kind of experience you had in that area. I'm glad you filmed it, commented on it, and shared it with us!

It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower

One hiker showed the climb out of Hot Springs to Lover's Leap as very steep and exposed, but no one else even mentions it! Was there a scary part where it felt dangerously steep?
@JessHikesTrails9 ай бұрын
Not too bad! Not fun but not dangerous haha

I don't understand how an area that large can be a 'controlled' burn. Stay safe and thanks for posting.

Don't worry, you will get used to burned areas if you decide to hike other trails. On the PCT there are more than 200 miles completely burned, like in Lassen NP or north of Lake Tahoe. If you go to the CDT there is a good chance that you will be able to see active burning zones.

Wild! Would love to see these trails some day. Dream hikes

Seeing the burned area reminds me of just how bad the PCT and the walks through huge previous wildfire burn areas with all the destruction and dust and ashes. This was not too bad, a little spooky but they're being responsible. I do feel your pain though, it can't be pleasant.

It was very eerie! Everyone in my group agreed. But we all knew it was for the good of the local ecosystem

Make every decision to be for YOU. Don't decide that you need to do something just because someone else does. This is the most personal freedom you will ever have in your life. Enjoy it and feel and understand what that freedom feels like so that in the future you will know when your freedom is being taken away! You are early on the Calander, there is no need to rush. Momma K isn't going anywhere. Slow down and enjoy your hike. If you are worried about finishing on time and are just not sure check this out. In 1990, I stayed in Hot Springs and worked for Carolina Outdoors for 11 days as a raft guide because I was missing my raft guide job at home. I started on March 25 and finished on September 18. I had 79 zero days on that hike because I took my time, enjoyed the hike, did what I wanted to do and shot 16,000 frames of photos. When I write to you to have fun.....I mean it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Hike safe, Hike strong, Have fun! geek PS, you wouldn't have much of a forest without those controlled burns.

LOVE this message!!! 79 zero days sounds AMAZING! Sounds like you did it right!!!

There is too much bias against controlled burns & I feel you're adding to it. Imagine walking through an area in which a wildfire has taken place - dead animals that were unable to escape the wildfire & dead trees.
@MaxZomboni9 ай бұрын
Bias against controlled burns? Who said that? All I hear is bias in favor of controlled burns. At 3:55, she said exactly what you are saying. Also you don't think that animals are killed in controlled burns? They don't go through and rescue all the animals before they burn it. How many bird's nests to you think burned up in those trees? 🤔

Burns occur naturally in nature and serve a good purpose.
