100% agreed. It was by no means perfect, but it was a blast, and one of the best open world and best zombie games made.

Days gone was fantastic and definitely deserves a sequel, hell it seemed to set up for a sequel. I really enjoyed the game, plus the graphics still hold up to today. One of my favorite small things in the game was in the pause menu it told you how many days were gone since the outbreak

In the process of playing through it for the first time and am rather enjoying it. Gameplay loop is fun, combat is fun, it's a shame it recieved such harsh reviews.

Damn! I almost skipped traveling because of this game because I was so hooked. Everything just feel enjoyable, I even love doing the side missions. Sony really failed on this one. Highly deserved a sequel. What a classic masterpiece! Those clueless journalists were so wrong about days gone. 🤦‍♂️

I honestly tried my best to enjoy this game but holy hell it was so damn boring. It was so bland and safe that it felt like I had already played it 100 times before. I feel like the pitch for this game was "hey do you like open world games? do you like zombies? do you like motorbikes? because that is all we have to offer". That being said, they do deserve credit for being able to put massive hordes of zombies into the game with next to no performance issues. Overall I just feel like it was a big missed opportunity for them to stand out in an already over saturated genre. It genuinely feels like somebody modded Undead Nightmare and changed the horses to motorbikes. Damn, id rather play UN for the 5th time again instead of trying to get past the 15 hour mark in Days Gone

(In the defence of the game) years of shitty Ubisoft releases has given me open world fatigue so that probably contributed towards my negativity towards DG. Maybe ill try it again in a few years and love it

sorry but i'm not going to support a game made by a company just because I liked a game they previously made. Game studios have lost that privilege. Too many companies are too inconsistent with quality these days. Most games are released too early and are bug filled trash cans until the dev's have enough time to work patches into the game to fix the bugs. Every time i waited a year after release, the game has been polished with hardly any bugs in them and are a joy to play. GR Wildlands, FC5, Days Gone, Diablo 4 are some that was reported to be buggy on release where I waited a year or so before playing. The Division was one of the games where i was an early adopter and experienced the bug filled mess that game started off from. Never Again. I don't have much hope for Days Gone 2. Even if one does get green lit, the game director is long gone. Whoever is appointed to be game director of Days Gone 2 will most likely cave to the demands of woke bullshit and it will turn out to be trash.
