I've said it a million times , and I'll say it again. You make it look so easy. Since you started up on the challenges again , I had to take a look on where I stood. Although I expected it , I was distressed to find that I don't have all gold patches. I was traumatized from getting each challenge to a gold standard and to think I have to go back if I want all patches done to a gold aaargh.... I'll have to file away this series of videos for when I get the motivation ( truthfully I mean courage lol ) to go back to the challenges. Well done my friend ! 👍👍

My friend, these challenges ain't easy, and this bad boy is one of the hardest there is. I only make these look easy as I have an insane amount of practice hours on them all (with the exception of Dead Before Daylight, as I fuc*"!g hate that challenge). This video is a god send😭 I've been trying to do this challenge for a few days and it kicked my ass. Then I found your videos, I started by following your all challenges under 1 hour video but I could only manage to get to bronze at most. But thanks to this video i got the gold badge at last! Oh mate, the challenges under 1 hour would have been of limited help, as I go all out for gold scores without taking the time to bother with explaining everything. So glad I released this when I did now. Delighted it has helped mate.

And that’s the challenges done, another excellent guide!!! Out of curiosity do you have a guide on tackling the campaign on survival 2, i.e, how best to start, min requirements for success and first things to do. Separately do you have a speed run guide? You have so many videos it’s hard to see haha

Very good question Scott. I don't have an early start guide yet, but, it is one I badly want to do, and will be doing. I don't have a speed run guide either, but I have no plans for making one of these mate. Over the next few months, I will be adding a crazy amount of Days Gone videos to my collection, as I am going to cover all the side missions in great detail (similar to my ambush camp guides). Marauder & Ripper camp ones will be fun to show as I'll work on effective ways to take them out easy. Lots to come Scott, I hope you enjoy them mate.

I finally got gold in Surrounded now. I got gold for calculation and ranked and only silver for trapped and earful, but I'll take it. I used just about every strategy I could recall from all your videos and even resorted to using the roof for the final few minutes. The roof is where I was able to get the 300 kill high chain. Now I just have to get a gold in Survive and I'm done them all. I'm sure that'll be a breeze in comparison. I literally could not have ever done Surrounded without your guidance though. As always love the vids and learned useful things. I even have started trying the challenges as I feel brave enough now. Unfortunately as someone who's first gaming was on a ZX Spectrum 8bit as a teenager my reaction time and co-ordination is just too slow. Got my first silver score though.

I saw in your short livestream of this challenge 11 months ago that you hinted at making an attempt at the #1 rank - I would still love to see that video if you ever make it because the best I have done is a score of about 2.4 million but it's messy and I just end up getting overwhelmed - I would love to see how you keep control of the hordes once you get that far into the challenge. Firstly Ben, thank you for the very kind comments, most appreciated. Now, about Surrounded. I did hint that I may have a shot at the world record, but truthfully, the world No.1s & No.2s scores are so good, that I decided not to do it, especially as on the PS5, the horde move faster, so even beating my previous score would be tough. However, I may in the near future, have a shot at the world record for Infested. I've learned something new on this challenge that will allow me to score better than I had previously. And if I go for this record, I will record the entire run. Even if I don't get to the world record, I would expect to beat my previous score, so it would be worth watching.

They are mainly for cosmetics, but, Sarah & Rikki are faster characters when they are running than the rest, so if you are ever taking on an endless horde challenge (Surrounded, Infested or Black Friday), always make sure to pick one of those two for a slight advantage.

The extended clips you normally get from the vendor that you purchased the gun from. If you got the smp9 through horde killings, then you will get the extended clip the same way.
