My friend’s chihuahua has seizures over green beans because he gets SO excited. Took a few months to correlate his seizures to the green beans.. So that reminded me of “expensive and dramatic small animals”. Hope your trip is so fun!

Maybe I’ve gotten lucky on Southwest but I’ve taken the full size of the weekender fully stuffed as my under item bag, but yes it definitely gets heavy if I’m not careful so I try to be mindful of what is being placed in there like immediate things I need once I get off the plane. As far as the rash on the armpit, while I’ve never tried natural deodorants personally have eczema flare ups and sometimes that occurs near my armpits when it’s way too hot and I’m sweaty and wearing synthetic heavy fabrics so I just stick to secret 72 hour deodorant for summer or dove for everyday use and it’ll clear up.

I adopted a bunny when I was in college and didn’t realize I was allergic. I ended up sleeping on my couch because he lived in my bedroom, and was sent to the ER for breathing issues. Besides that, he was litter trained when k got him but slowly started to use my carpet and I was cleaning pee and poop every single day (also he ate all of my books and furniture). I loved him so much, but he was a ton of work. I did end up rehoming him after the hospital visit.

If you haven't already, try the Saltair deodorant (the regular one, not the serum one) they smell amazing and no rash!

Even if you make the choice that it is worth it and get one and fall in love, you will spend your life questioning your decision on a regular basis. It is worth it but not every day ha!

You might be sensitive to baking soda. My sister has that issue, and so when using some natural deodorants, it also gives her a rash!

Just FYI about the natural deodorant and armpit irritation - mine was caused by baking soda that a lot of them use! I switched to Lume and have no issues.

I used native and it caused me severe rash I thought I had a real problem so I stopped. Then used Donna Karen liked it. But NOW I cut up a lemon and keep half in my fridge, I will use the lemon juice under my armpits and coconut oil. No smell! Super natural and works better than any deodorant I have ever used before!

Very good of you to talk about getting a bunny as a pet is a lot of work! But it's crazy to me that they are no "normal pets" in the US. Here in Germany a lot of people have pet rabbits - and you go with them to the same vet as with your cats and dogs and hamsters. 🐰 It's such a "normal" animal to have :D / hope you have a great trip and time in Scotland! 🧡
