I think I've found my people in these comments. My car just gave out last week and I'm so emotional knowing I have to go back and clear it out. It drove my childhood pets that are no longer with me, it was a gift from my parents when I moved across the country to live with my long-distance boyfriend and now fiancé, and it reminds me of home. But we have to be reminded of the new journeys we will take with our new cars and what a blessing it is to be able to get a new car, period.

I love party favors. I’m not gonna lie though, I feel like it’s funnier to make them than receive them. Don’t get me wrong it’s fun to receive them. There’s just something about making things, and having it come together. I had the funniest time putting together Christmas gift boxes for my cousins. Gift giving is so much better than receiving gifts. ❤

So your video *may* have made me tear up! I drove my Corolla, Freckles, for over 15 years and almost 300k miles. I got her while I was in high school, and she was my ride or die through college, grad school, and law school. She was there when I got married, when I brought my babies home from the animal shelter, and when some of my babies took their final ride ( my husband and I adopt older pups from the shelter). Sadly, she started to struggle and it became unsafe to drive her to and from work. I had to make the tough decision to trade her in for a new ride. I still get sad when I think about her, but having a safe and reliable vehicle helps take the pain away. RIP Freckles 2008-2023.

Depending on your size preference... Honda HR-V / CR-V, Mazda Cx 30 / 5, Toyota Rav4 or Corolla Cross.... Reliable and less expensive to maintain brands!

I bought a Mazda Cx30 3 years ago and couldn’t recommend it enough! Very reliable, spacious enough but not too big that it feels inconvenient in a city, great safety rating and looks really sleek. Price isn’t toooo bad for what you’re getting.

I LOVE my Hyundai Sante Fe Sport. Once i got mine my whole family got hyundais as well especially with how well it held up in an accident. I immediately got the same car after. One thing i loved is the panoramic sunroof like the Tiguan! It has great features (i have a 2.0T ultimate) and hasnt had any major issues and i mow have 150,000~ miles on it.

Its the perfect size but the regular sante fe is a little bigger and can have a third row. The sport is a similar size to your car maybe a little bigger. 10000/10 recommend ive never ever had a complaint about that car and will always recommend it to everyone

I had a 1989 Ford escort for my very first car, I owned it for seven years it had 200,000 miles on it when I bought it, and the heater didn’t work (and I live in mn) and the exhaust came through the vents, and the transmission was shot and the repairs cost $5000 and I bought the car got $2500. So a mechanic at my repair shop bought it from me for $100 and fixed it up and still drives it around the neighborhood.

No listen, I cried when I traded in the first car I bought by myself because I was so attached to it. Then my husband traded in his jeep wrangler and I cried because it was our getaway car for our wedding day 2 years ago and we took it to Tennessee for our honeymoon. He laughed and the salesman came over to get the keys after we cleaned it out and I was just standing in front of it crying and taking a picture and my husband goes “She’s having a moment, sorry.” 😂 so I completely understand 😢

I cried when I traded my Hyundai Elantra, once I realized I was never going to see it again 😭 that was the car that got decorated when my husband and I got married in 2015🥲 what’s funny is when I realized I went into my phone camera and I had happened to have a picture of my car that day because I’d taken a pic of the license plate for our lunch parking and that made me cry harder 😂 like I was meant to have had that one last picture lol. Anyway, you’re an amazing host!! I think you should reach out to brands and have them pay you to host using their products more!!
