Days in my life | Finding peace & shutting off work

In this vlog, I´m taking you along to my hometown Sundsvall. I lived here for three years during high school and nowadays my whole family lives here too. During my trip, I spend a lot of quality time with family and friends while also trying to work on creative projects.
I´ve been reflecting a lot about work-life balance, especially as an independent artist, who´s like in my case, trying to build something up.
It´s hard to allow oneself to shut off and rest, but it´s important to accept that we need it. Even though creative work often feels fun and fulfilling, it´s important to permit ourselves to give space for other areas of life. Otherwise, we easily start neglecting important things, like quality time with loved ones, self-care and days without any obligations.
This concept was something I tried to remember while I was in Sundsvall. To work when I intended to and allow myself time off without any guilt. Although I often find it hard, even in my everyday life.

Hi! I´m Klara Li and I´m an artist and songwriter. I love all things creative like books, art and music. But I´m also a huge fan of organisation, productivity and self-development. I recently moved away from Berlin, my home for the past five years, to live in a small town on the west coast of Sweden.
Over the last couple of years, I´ve experienced big creative blockage. This is something I´m really trying to overcome. By working on my mindset and getting clear about my purpose, I hope to find a way back to the meaningfulness art brings to my life.
