OMG! I laughed so hard at the old man's lap comment. Hilarious! And double hilarious for me because not only did I grow up having to sit on an old man's lap (Santa) and then as a young woman avoiding old man's lap I'm finally at the age (63) where I'm now married to an old man. So it's come full circle for me. 🤣

Me, sitting here knitting with about a decade of on again/off again knitting experience: It still makes me cry sometimes. Dropped stitches/miscounts/pattern misreads are still a thing that can happen even to the best of us. Also, the soup cube is a *fantastic* idea, I've gotta figure that out for myself.

Told one of my friends about you and said I want to be your friend, but then I said you have social anxiety and there is the fact that this is a parasocial relationship and I live on the other side of the world, so realistically you probably wouldn’t want to be my friend and you know the limits of reality, but I always appreciate your videos and the advice in them. On puzzles: My husband used to volunteer at a charity store, and when they received puzzles, he and other volunteers would need to solve them first before putting them up for sale to make sure they had all the pieces. On Cookies: That's what I bring! I make a bunch of different ones (shout out to Sally's Baking Addiction), and I give cookie boxes to my friends and family. 🤣 You did make me think I should find a fav dinner recipe for wintertime. I make two recipes every year for Fall but not for winter and I don't know why.

This was the best possible choice of something to watch/listen to while I did my daily puzzles and also the first inkling of holiday cheer I’ve felt all season, so thank you ✨Just found you via your video about “7 life changing habits that didn’t work for me” (which was excellent btw), instant subscribe. Def agree about crochet (can’t watch a movie without it, it’s like babysitting for the boredom impulse control problems that occur when I’m made to sit down and concentrate on one thing). Also, origami is another great cozy hobby. Every horizontal surface of your home will inevitably be occupied by paper cranes, but there are worse problems to have.

Oreo balls are my favorite and a signature treat I often bring (and I live in Chicago so hopefully we dont end up in the same place - but if we do, we can just eat each other's 😅). I like to add some peppermint extract during the holidays with some oreo crumbles and those glittery sprinkles, or crushed candy canes on top. They always get entirely eaten and I get so many compliments. They can also look so fancy or just like a sloppy delicious holiday mess in the best way. I really needed this reset. Thank you for just bringing it home (literally). I've felt so scattered and I need to change my environment/evening and weekend routines to be more aligned with the season and this is a great guideline.
