I don't know how Tailer Brands does it but I was talked into turning my business into an LLC before I even should have and I'm having to pay monthly before I've even started selling anything. So definitely do more research than I did and don't do it too early... And I appreciate the tax information, that has had me the most scared with starting, I was told businesses have to do taxes more often (once per business quarter I think it was) than people just having to do taxes once a year so it's been a dark cloud overhead for sure.

just a suggestion, you can make the bow parts thicker than you usually do and bake them. i think that will work and make the mould would be more deep and not flat?? i hope you get what im saying 😭😭😭 also you can use scrap pieces of clay for this. idek if you got it but i hope you got it 😭😭

if you're not sure what to do with taxes, the best thing is to speak to a business adviser or an accountant. you can get 1 or 2 sessions to start with and they will inform you of your options, and then later when you make more money you could hire an accountant to keep on top of your taxes and business income and expenses. there should be a government website that will tell you how to file taxes and what you need to start your business. sometimes i call the helpline to get someone to walk me through the tax forms when tax time comes. there is always a disclaimer when filing your taxes that you're doing it to the best of your ability, so if you get a little bit wrong it's fine -- you can always call the helpline and correct your mistakes. taxes seem confusing and intimidating at first but they don't have to be.

Thank you because I always thought they just cost money so I never even tried to seek one out to even ask. Can you get a business adviser/ accountant from anywhere, or do I have to go through my personal bank? I always never knew where to even start looking for one of those. Do they just sit in all banks or have their own building? lol My personal bank doesn't handle business accounts. And I don't even have a physical bank I can go to, we literally only have 1 physical bank and it's in a different state from where I live.

@@deadsetondreams1988 you can get a business adviser or accountant from anywhere! try searching online first, but you can also look through your local phone book or directory for some in your area. feel free to shop around and ask if you can have a quick consultation first before you pay for a full session. i wouldn't suggest going to a bank because they deal with banking matters, and what you seem like you need is business help. business advisers and accountants usually work in their own small businesses, usually with shop fronts that you can simply walk into. you can even find them along busy streets in town centres, at least where i live! hope this helps.

Pottery lover here too! Please be careful with the dust/dry clay and really make sure if you are going to repurpose/rethrow the clay you take the safety precautions for the silica! It can be super harmful to your lungs over time
