I lived with my in laws when my husband got out of the military. I remember feeling exactly what you’re talking about. Unfortunately I only felt better when I was back to having my own space again. Try going to different places nearby for little weekend vacations. It helped me so much! Not only did I miss my stuff, but I missed it just being me, my husband, our 2 kids and our dog. Having a house full is tough, even if you get along with your in laws! It’s just so much to get use to!

Apple care is usually available for purchase for 60 days . I would check in your settings. Might even still be there. Usually three is a countdown of how much longer until you can purchase it. Currently had my new phone for 2 weeks too and I haven’t bought the Apple care yet because couldn’t decide between 2 year or monthly plan. Making me just do that today! My autistic son sometimes throws my phone in exasperation when the ads pop up and can’t skip to what he was watching, so totally get it.

Totally relate to you 💯%. I’ve been in a really weird headspace. I would just drive and all of a sudden I would start tearing up over nothing. Mentally exhausted + physically exhausted = Me the first of November. And I couldn’t explain why because I did not know why myself. Lol.

I am like that with sports sometimes when I’m really busy with things. Sometimes it’s better time wise to just leave it on the tv and listen to it while getting other things done. I love watching sports but the games can be kind of long. Especially football because the games are 3 hrs sometimes 3.5 hours from start to finish. I can also relate to the different feelings of living in someone else’s home. I dog/cat sit (primarily while the owner is on vacation) so when I’m on a pet job I’m staying at someone else’s home. Money wise it’s very helpful so of course I’m grateful/thankful with that. Postgrad career wise has been a little bit of a struggle for me. I graduated end of April 2023. Took me most of summer 2023 to get a job offer than worked full time from end of August 2023 through mid September 2024. Unfortunately looking for a job again currently. The downside of the pet sitting is not being in your own space or sleeping in your own bed during that time(sometimes it’s only a weekend while other times it could be a few weeks at a time). Again I’m very thankful/grateful to have it because it helps money wise.

So with my job sometimes you don't get paid until 90 days after a campaign and because of that we decided to wait until the new year most likely because then we will have my income from nov and dec to add to our saving for a down payment! I had some very amazing opportunities the past few weeks so we are just holding out until next year!!

@ this is so sweet, thank you!! I felt rushed when we first got here because I was so excited to be here but now I feel so at peace with taking out time. I also still can’t decide if we should build in a new construction and be farther away from the city or try and get in closer. Like I don’t know what I want and we haven’t found any houses we absolutely love but when we do I’ll film us looking at them!! I just would rather take our time and save as we do than rush. And also it’s like so nice to not go so broke when we buy because we saved more than we planned to 😂
