Yes Naz, I agree with NOT filming in class! I honestly feel so uncomfortable with people filming in the gym or cycling class 😭 if I’m paying for a class, I would want to feel comfortable and free, not fearful that I might come out in somebody’s video.

I was totally annoyed with pilates studio here where i live too when they dont allow filming. It was to the extend the instructor was like no filming when i try to film once the class are over just me alone in the studio. I mean i know where to place my camera for it not to capture others in the class for their privacy of course but i felt these days everyone sort of resent influencer or deem whoever filming are influencer and just trying to make life hard for people who wants to film but they sure are interested in watching the content once its out there on the internet. How did they thing that content got out there at the first place? I even ask the instructor okay now you are not making sense. Im making video of myself alone after class without any human in the class so whats the issue?

@@NazaninKavari Of course they have the RIGHT not to let You film.. their business their rules .. and you as the consumer don’t have to go back if you don’t like the rules 😂they’re not going to let filming just bc “content creator” a lot of gyms don’t allow filming .. some people don’t want to be filmed while working out and people need to respect that

@@NazaninKavari The instructor most likely felt uncomfortable with filming, especially if no other people were in the shot! My assumption is they don’t want to be caught on video poorly instructing. Or the instructor doesn’t want their class curriculum/idea shared online to take for free of charge (Which is why you cannot film in a lot of professional ballet performances, dance competitions, museums, and musicals!) But it is a shame, I feel like a business arrangement/compromise, would’ve benefited both parties! 💕

If I was paying for a class I wouldn’t want someone filming, I would be there get away from stressful mom/wife life, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable or stress free paranoid or stressed that I would be filmed accidentally

I’m turning 24 on Jan 3rd and I feel you on everything you said Naz! I feel like this way of thinking (gratitude, self care, health) is our frontal lobe developing!! For sure. I think this year at 23 was an EYE OPENER. I found out I had PCOS, after going to the ER with my on going symptoms, I revamped my lifestyle, I started my private chef business while working two other jobs. I moved out a year ago for the first time. It’s been life changing but in a good way?! I don’t have kids yet but I’m just agreeing on everything you say and I’m glad I get to see you grow I grew up watching you and seeing you in this era gives me happiness and I can’t wait to be in that space when I’m older. 💗

I love your gratitude Naz 💗 , I swear not many people are grateful for our basic health! My step dad had an accident a few months ago and is now a paraplegic. We don't control much in this life, which is why it's so important to cherish what we have before it's too late. People complain about the stupidest things and I just think of my step dad who would give anything today just to get up and go for a walk.

I love you, Naz! But I agree with no filming in any gym or workout class. I used to work at a gym, and we had ALOT of issues of people filming other people and then posting them. There are weird people out there. We even had cases of people filming the kids that were in the daycare of the gym. If you let one person film, then you have to let everyone film. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same intention as you when it comes to filming. The facility could get in a lot of trouble if the wrong person decides to film or photograph. Just not a good idea ❤

I think the filming thing is really just a case by case thing. When I went to pole, silks, and chair dancing I loved to film myself. So did so many of the other girls in the classes, as it was encouraged to see your form and just have as mementos. I also applaud people who film in general because I like watching videos, so I don’t think its fair to expect to watch different videos but not like that they have to be produced in your public space.

I understand it’s content for you and I understand it’s your job to get content for us to watch🩷. However I don’t like the filming either. I appreciate you being careful for not getting people in the back but not every influencer is like this. Plus I feel like , a lot of people are not comfortable with their bodies, and then they see their poor form , not best shape body on camera on a KZbin video .. i think it’s not fair because they paid 40-50 dollars too . I wouldn't mind if someone was filming themselves in a pilates class I was doing, especially if they're being as considerate as you by making sure other people aren't in the shot. You're actually putting these pilates instructors businesses on the map by filming especially if you're shouting them out so I don't see the problem with it tbh but maybe ask the instructor ahead of paying for the class
