I would not run again until your legs feel better I had them about 12 years ago and ended up with crutches for a while can't remember anything else from then but they do heal so hope you go on OK.

Hey Freya, love the vlog! I’m a dancer and a bunch of people at my college got shin splints, the physios said it’s usually due to tight calves as the muscles are all connected so make sure you’re always stretching out your calves after and before a run, foam rolling is good too! Also physio taping your calves is good to support them x

For shin splints you really need to go to a specialised running shop to have your gait analysed to make sure you’re wearing the right trainers. Up and Running on Deansgate is great. In the meantime put a towel on the floor and scrunch it up using your toes, sounds strange but really works

I got the munka honey mask in a glossybox haven't tried it yet, cos I've got so many masks but will get round to it x Shin splints, your suppose to balance on the edge of the stairs and raise up and down on the edge of a stair. I've never tried it but my husband used to run, and he had shin splints, Love Chesire Oaks I have to say I love the Clogau gold shop every time we visit, I buy some gold

Love love your vlogs Freya. So much variety. Barney is just the cutest. Those bandanna’s are going to look so adorable on him . The green one is such a good idea to let people know he’s friendly. Lydia’s collection was all so nice it must of been hard to choose. The colours and cut of them was lovely and looked like pieces you could have year in year out as they were sophisticated styles that don’t date . How is Barney dealing with the heat ? My friend has bought her dog a special t shirt that keeps them cool so they can go out when it’s hot weather. 😊

I’ve just started doing couch to 5k (currently on week 3) and I’ve found running on a softer surface like gravel or grass has helped my shins. Also got a pair of ASICS trainers which were only around £30 but they’ve definitely helped too. Hoping my shins get stronger over time. I just pushed through the pain and they seem to have got a bit better!
