I lost my fiancée, after 14 years together, the 16th of April 2023. She was 32 and still my soulmate. You learn to cope with being haunted by the memories, but time only dulled the pain for me. Take your time to heal, Grief is a process that needs to happen and it is proof of your love for her. My sympathies and well wishes.

The visualizer that is clearly inspired from Emarosa's Relativity just adds to the vibe. The auto tune is overkill on both vocalists here though.

I am on the cusp of week 4 of my separation with my wife of 9 years and 2 kids. I was completely blind sided by it. Caleb has always been a vocal favorite and Beartooth got me through a lot of hard days. Hearing this version of the song is a painful but beautiful reminder that I could have done better. This rendition of Burial Plot could not have been done better. Thank you Rory and Caleb.

Back during the tour they went on with Bad Omens they(Dayseeker) arrived really late due to transportation problems. They almost didn’t make it. As Bad Omens was about to get ready to start, Rory rushed in and came on stage and apologized multiple times and gave us an all acoustic set. It was beautiful. He’s amazing. ❤

Been on the road losing track of days I pull you in while you pull away It's like I always play to lose you I saw your eyes filling up with tears You pulled the plug and then you disappear This home has never felt so empty Effortless, the way you left me Cut me open with your own two hands (own two hands) Breathing is so difficult to comprehend When the air I breathe is taken from me It's my fault that you're gone I've been digging in the dirt Finding every way to hurt There's no light, it's just dark Feel my body growing numb Watch me as I come undone Is there relief in the misery? Thought we would last an eternity Forever I will feel this hollow It's not enough to believe in me And now I'm left with the memories One day I'll learn to live without Effortless, the way you left me Now the air I breathe is taken from me It's my fault that you're gone I've been digging in the dirt Finding every way to hurt There's no light, it's just dark Feel my body growing numb Watch me as I come undone A burial plot for you and I Where we can both learn to die It's my fault that you're gone I've been digging in the dirt Finding every way to hurt It's my fault that you're gone, ooh There's no light, it's just dark, ooh It's my fault that you're gone I've been digging in the dirt Finding every way to hurt There's no light, it's just dark Feel my body growing numb Watch me as I come undone A burial plot for you and I Where we can both learn to die It's my fault that you're gone I've been digging in the dirt Finding every way to hurt Ooh Ooh A burial plot for you and I Where we can both learn to die

Thanks Dayseeker for this gift. Man this rendition is absolutely gorgeous. Rory smashes it every time he lays vocals down so I’m not surprised at how good his vocals are on it but Caleb? Man! He absolutely slayed it, I don’t think there are a better fitting vocals for the parts he sung.

Why do we think that when we bring someone into our lives, it goes without saying that they will stay with us, no matter what? It becomes a lightning rod or a dustbin. At a certain point, there is no longer any intention to ask for forgiveness for the way in which one makes a mistake. It hurts no matter how much you love that person. you end up being one step away from leaving it behind. You feel used and unimportant. 💜
