If it isn't playback, I completely agree! I saw them live and their FOH guy was using a freaking x32.... You can't get this quality of audio with those terrible pre-amps. So I'm concerned that is not live. BUT holy crap were they just as perfect live!

@Epic funny clips the lyrics are his dad fighting cancer ( cheating death) he then says i know you wont return to hell, implying hes already lived it, can heaven fall to earth, meaning can he bring his farther back to him, its very endearing, and the hurt he feels about it. its about the loss and grief, just because its not singing about how much fun they had doesnt mean he hated his dad.

I've seen the end of their set in Warped Tour, unfortunately crowd was pretty dull, and they were too. Maybe just the wrong crowd, and it was extremely hot, middle of afternoon, no clouds... Still, love their music.

I mean they are slowly creeping up on a million monthly listeners on Spotify. So people are catching on. Plus, you have to give it time, they didn't transition into the more melodic style until a few years ago. They will be at Architects' level of popularity in the not so distant future. Believe that!

Its not the album version but this recording has been heavily processed. Doesn't mean he can't sing, just means either Sirius XM or Dayseeker's label wanted it professionally mixed to make them look extra good.

It's not. The vocals are all pre-recorded live tracks. Watch his mouth in these Octane videos and you'll see what I mean. Not knocking the dude, but he does make it obvious that he's not actually coming through that mic. Everyone but the drummer have those little tells in their performance that shows it was pre-recorded and rehearsed for live shows. A lot of bands do it.

There are a few things in this version that aren't in the album version. Namely, some of the "Oooo" sections he add and the, "Yeahhhh" at the end. Nonetheless, I love this fucking band. Regardless of how they operate to achieve the end result. Shits fucking fire 👌
