Ahhh those good ole' Illinois roads. Before moving back to South Carolina ii lived in Rockford for twelve years. 39, and 90 were worse then some roller coasters I've ridden. Love you vlogs so keep em' coming.

Nice Ride in the MCI Alblua👍 I can tell it's an older bus with all the rickety rattling on all those bumpy roads. But it's amazing the acceleration is just as good as a 4 wheeler if not better WOW! Do Peoria Charter Buses have sound systems to play music? I think smooth jazz would be most romantic to listen to while enjoying a chauffered ride around Chicago late at night to admire the skyline with most spectacular illumination on tops of the skyscrapers🌕🌃🚌🚌 Have a good one and Love your bus videos💗

Yes, the Detroit Series 60 paired with an Allison is a recipe for great acceleration! Sound system equipped, but we have a policy that prohibits playing music on schedule runs.

Okay I'm not really fond of MCI coaches! But you did a great job. But I didn't think James was up to just abandoning a coach in the middle of nowhere! lol😂 I'm sure it's not the case. But you did a wonderful job driving up. Your camera work was excellent. But I am picky about the kind of coach I always liked. Just as when I drove school buses I always had one particular brand that I was happy with. Now when I had to go to New York and I had to drive mass transit this has been years ago as all this has been when you got there they all drove the same with the exception of the articulated buses. They were different. Well I thoroughly enjoyed it this time so you don't have to worry about getting your money taken back.😊 lol

Haha, if I can avoid driving a VanHool I'll do it. I'm not a fan of the ride quality and the driver ergonomics are not as good as the other manufacturers

It is a great video and you are a very smooth driver but who were you hauling were are you going? The coach sounded good for its age no rattles but it appeared to have a lot of movement in the steering. Does PCC have a maintenence facility or office

Bus is in great condition for its age! I much prefer driving an old MCI J4500 over a newer VanHool CX45.

Did this bus used to have a ZF?

@@albluaI wonder because the “No Cell Phone” decal was a tell tale of the ZF, they all had that sticker because apparently cell phones and the ZF shift pad did not get along. Something about an incoming call throwing the bus out of gear 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm not sure! I do know older transmission pads were affected by phone signals. These are from a time before I could even drive a car 😅
