Thank You for your commentary on the "Community" perspective... I really felt as though you UNDERSTOOD what we've been thinking & feeling on the subject of being "seen" and "heard" on GH and various other shows.

Thank you so much for addressing the statement by NAC. I also appreciate you for stating some of things about Trina being a prop for Joss and the Ashford / family Robinson being put in the background. Hoping that GH writers step up for Tabyana and all the African American actors on the show.

JLJ, I totally agree, and yes, SPRINA fans deserve to grieve along with Trina's character, who should have been able to be on General Hospital, taking us through the grieving stages. That alone, the writing could help so many people dealing with grieving losing a loved one and not being able to accept it. It's time that the General Hospital writers give Tabyana, a.k.a. Trina, her shining light. I totally agree that Nicolas's comments were classy. And I wouldn't expect anything but that from him. Yes, Nicholas is a phenomenal actor.

You hit the nail on the head, often it feels like soaps give us a little only to take it back. A lot of fans feel like the Sprina story didn’t get the care other couples do. And even in the months after Spencer’s presumed death, Trina’s only gotten select moments to express her grief, even going missing for three weeks. I can’t help but wonder how much of that is rooted in the idea that Black women always have to be “strong” and no one cares about our pain. I’m sure that sounds dramatic to some, but I can’t help but question it. None of the Black cast is breaking double digits in episode counts per month or helping to drive stories. Look no further than pikeman. That’s an umbrella story, but doesn’t include Black characters. They gave Jordan’s job to Anna, so besides a stray scene here and there, she’s absent. And Curtis seems to have moved on from being shot bc someone was targeting Sonny. Now he wants to be a fitness influencer?..Just seems like gh isn’t interested in the Black characters or Black viewers.

It was a beautiful statement

Nicholas Chavez is definitely a force to be reckoned as far as his acting talent is concerned However comma this statement was very professional but lacked actual warmth to his fan base - jmo Let’s face it gh was just a stepping stone in his career as it has been for numerous stars and it is what it is….. I have read many farewell to fans from actors and this is more of an end of a contract farewell rather than a goodbye to his fans……

I'm gonna miss the hell outta NAC... But, I definitely want the SPRINA storyline to continue. Their lovestory was JUST getting started when Spencer fell overboard & "presumed" dead... Knowing full well that (the fans) AREN'T buying into that scenario. There has been TOO MANY signs pointing to the possibility of Spencer being alive... i.e. the Turtledove washing upon the shore; the painting of the birds Ava showed Laura at the Gallery; Trina holding onto any & every connection that has/had to do with Spencer; Spencer's Dad reappearing after a long absence, etc. The SPRINA fans realize that NAC's departure is a HUGE loss, But the character of Spencer is multilayered and worth further development. Furthermore, the CHEMISTRY of Spencer & Trina is dynamic and is something that GH needs to CONTINUE investing in.

Where is the specific Thank You to both Tabyana and Sidney???? SPRINA was not possible without their lovely performances. They need to be specifically honored. 61 years and GH has no Black writers and no Black main characters, no significant story lines that make sense. I have had enough. I hope the Black actors move on and do things that give them great careers because GH may just not be capable.

That's why i'm going to stop watching. All these years and Jordan is still single but all the other women on the show always have love interests. I bet they keep Trina single for ages now that Spencer is gone. The writers really didn't want them together anyway. You could tell by the way they never gave them the love story they deserved. Always throwing esme in the mix, it was weird and so unrealistic. Gh has a real problem with racism and it shows...Also you could tell spencer was not into the new trina like he was the old trina. Many people have noticed this..They had to keep up apperances for the sake of the fans but he act like coudn't wait to leave. I heard he deleted her off his instagram..

@Cookie-tz7hd Both Trinas did excellent work as actresses. They brought many new viewers to GH. The Paris scene got over 2M views on KZbin. SPRINA was a phenomenon. Tabyana deserves respect. Not to be a third wheel or used as a prop or just to promote the new "raising male star." She deserves better, and so does the the POC fan base that have been more than patient with and supportive of GH for years.
